The scallop rolls smelled fishy and were inedible. The fish to rice ratio was completely out of balance. The rice itself was undercooked. The fish was chewy. The soy sauce provided was hit with a salt bomb. The tempura dip was barely more than a tablespoon and wasn't enough for the amount of tempura in the order. Honestly, everything was bad. I hope it was a one-off night for these guys but I'm not spending over $100 again only to end up making my own dinner.

Unfortunately my partner got bad food poisoning here. They also only got a conditional pass on DineSafe Toronto. Won't be coming back here.

Ordered Casa for take out a couple weeks back. The salmon tasted really good. I was able to make a couple modifications (for a small fee), which was great. Would order again!

Starting 2022 with sushi cravings. With an uber eats gift card, I ordered from Casa Sushi. After a long struggle with Uber Eats, my dinner arrived 2 hours later. I ordered a salmon sushi sashimi combo and a beef tepanyaki dish. They were both packed in the same bag with the beef tepanyaki at the bottom. The heat rose through to the sushi box. Yup. Steamed sushi anyone? Lol. Fortunately, the salmon wasn't totally steamed, but it's kinda weird to eat warm raw salmon. The only other thing that was not so good was the overly salty soya sauce. I ended tossing it out and used my own. The beef tepanyaki was on the salty side as well. I guess it's good to try things at least once.

My favorite sushi spot for over 10 years! Friendly staff and delicious food. Must trys are Casa sushi roll (torched salmon ontop), beef tataki, hot and sour soup! The soup is my favorite. And a nice treat is the enoki mushrooms, which they also wrap in beef. Nomnom. They offer take out and many delivery aps. Easy to access on the Danforth. Try them you will not be disappointed Xx

I've been coming here for seven years, and while it's not the most spectacular sushi in the city, its amazing value, diverse menu and above all SERVICE keeps me coming back. I've been to a couple of other Danforth sushi joints and often deal with indifferent service. Never here! I always feel like an appreciated customer, even with servers who don't know me. You can have a filling lunch for a tenner here, and never feel rushed, pressured or unwanted. And they're a great place for families with small children. I'll happily keep coming back here for another seven years.

Wonderful sushi spot that is highly underrated. Friendly, quick service and always ready to fill your tea cups. Sushi rolls from the specialty section looked delicious so we ordered the 'Casa roll' and it was superb. Beef tataki portion is unreal for a la carte. Overall, great atmosphere, 5 star service, tasty food and fair prices.

It's not as good as I hoped it would be but maybe it was simply the timing we went at. Maybe since we went near closing time, the sushi didn't feel as fresh. I would have thought that the Casa Roll (given the fact it's named after the place) would have been stellar but the Snow White Roll is definitely their best dish. Good service, average prices. I liked it but it's just that I have had better sushi for the same price elsewhere so that's why the three stars.
