★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Went in to get a piece of silk/chiffon fabric to make into a small ribbon-like sash. When I walked in, the woman did not acknowledge I was there, let alone ask me if I needed help even though there were no other customers in the store. When I finally asked for her help and told her what I wanted she told me she didn't have anything like that and all she had was ribbon. I asked her what the fabric was in front of her and she replied "silk". She then repeated my options of ribbon.
It seemed that I inconvenienced her by just being in the store. Perhaps you shouldn't be in customer service if you are in the business of driving customers away.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ So lucky to have this little treasure shop in the neighborhood! They have everything the home sewist needs, from notions to zippers to fabric and more. Elastic, binding, buttons...they have it all. Need feathers? They've got a dazzling array. Very helpful and informed staff too. The store is packed to the rafters but spotless and well-organized. And don't miss the spectacular feathered corset dress in the window!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Horrible customer service! Very rude staff. I've worked in customer service for over 10 years and never treated a customer the way the lady in this shop does. They have some good options but prices are a bit high. Rather go downtown for supplies.
Plus the owner, when contacted, lied and said this has never happened and totally dismissed what I was telling him. I will NEVER support this store the owner and staff are way too rude and do not care about their customers.
Like I said I’d rather travel 1 hour to go downtown and purchase at a more affordable price, plus get the best costumer service than travel 10 mins and get treated like garbage.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ A beautiful intimate boutique little fabric, notions and mask supply shop located on Danforth at the heart of Greek town in Toronto.
They also carry a great selection of vintage buttons. I was also pleasantly surprised to see a fantastic variety of feathers. Check it out and you won't be disappointed...

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Not impressed. First time shopping for fabric (after already finding something I like online thought I support a local business). Sign on the door read "We are closed due to the weather. Sorry for the inconvenience."
The roads and sidewalks were plowed and salted before business hours. On my walk to the store saw multiple cyclists, people walking with strollers, buggies, and canes! The usual beggars were sitting outside Shoppers Drug Mart. Guess what I'm trying to say is the weather was not bad. As a person with a physical disability and no car I stay home when the weather is bad.
Never in a hundred years thought I would need to call and see if businesses are closed on a typical Canadian day.
If you were truly sorry the sign would have read something like: "Sorry for the inconvenience. Please present a photo of this sign for n% off your next purchase before (some date in the not to distance future)."
Know I was not the only one inconvenienced by this.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ The owner was very patient with us as we searched for some very particular items for my mother-in-law. This is not a location for bargain hunting - it's a lovely small shop with knowledge shop keepers.
And if that's not your cup of tea, you can always go bowling next door while you wait for your spouse or in-laws.
