N	Nina Lamba on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ First time at Xing Fu Tang and will be my last. I've had my fair share of bubble teas in the city and this was the first time I had to throw it out. I got the Brown Sugar Pearl Milk Tea but it just tasted like sugary milk. There was barely any tea flavour. The pearls are just OK, nothing to rave about. Price is higher than other bubble tea places too. I'm giving 2 stars because the lady who took my order was very friendly.

I have an affinity for the standard brown sugar , boba pearl milk drinks with or without the tea component. I quite like the one from Xing FuTang in the T&T in Deerfoot Meadows. It's perhaps a bit sweeter than I would like, but next time I'll ask if they can reduce the sweetness a bit. Other than that, the pearls were great and tasty and the drink itself was great and they put a bit of a creamer on top with a salted caramel taste which is a nice touch. of all the brown sugar pearl boba milk (I think these are referred to as "Dirty Milk Tea") ones I have tried in Calgary, this one is my favorite along with Don't Yell at Me on 17th Ave.
C	CY Siu on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ A 2.5-3 star rating. Customer service here is good - nice, friendly and patient staff. The quality of the product I got, on the other hand, was disappointing. Having gone to the xing Fu tang in BC and Toronto, I ordered the signature brown sugar pearl milk drink as the baseline. As per my photo (of all three before mixing it), there is a big difference in the Calgary location one. Very heavy in milk ratio and less of the brown sugar. In the end, tasted like j was drinking sugared milk only. The pearls were soft - no issues there but taste + quality to the presentation of the drink did not match the standard of the other two cities. The other drink order was coconut coffee, which was better tasting and heavily coconut flavoured (less on the coffee). Will recommend working on the ratio aspect for this location.
J	Jeffrey Peng on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ BEST BBT IN CALGARY. I’ve had Xing Fu Tang in Vancouver and their Calgary location it did not disappoint. I’ve usually judge a bbt place by getting a classic milk tea and this place by far is the best I’ve tasted. All the locations in Chinatown do not compete as the rich tea and milk flavour at Xing Fu Tang will blow u away compared to the watered down and over sweetened ones you are used to.
C	Crystal Cheung on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Went to the T&T in Deerfoot Meadows and was finally able to try this boba place out. I always try the brown sugar milk tea whenever I try a new boba place. They did not disappoint ? The only thing is, I like to be able to choose my sugar level since I don't eat or drink anything that's too sweet. But even with the sweet boba, this drink was delicious! That Carmel brown sugar milk tea flavour with chewy boba ??? I would say it tastes better then the ones I've tried at different boba places so far. I did end up adding more ice to the drink when I got home. Made it less sweet and colder. Definitely like it when the drink is ice cold. The fruity drinks are very good too! Passion fruit yogurt green tea and bunny mango smoothie. Can't wait to try the rest! Especially their boba soft serve ??

I give 1-star only for the friendly service and the fresh cooking pearls in the syrup, giving them chewy/bouncy texture. The signature/flagship BrS reminds me of a lightly sweetened milk. Recently I tried the Black tea pearl latte hoping for a good strong tea flavour, but still tasted like sweetened milk. The pearls are fresh/warm, but sadly melted all the ice cubes so the drink became lukewarm. Even though I got it with regular sugar, it wasn’t sweet and tasted diluted/bland. This is the first time I did not want to finish a BBT. Also the click-on lid made it kept spilling out the side. The options on the menu appear colourful but I think it lacks variety compared to other places. I don’t believe this is a good representation of the brand originally from Asia (Taiwan/Malaysia?).

I ordered their signature brown sugar pearl milk tea. I don’t think I’m gonna try this again. Maybe the other drinks, but not their milk tea.

Not too chewy nor undercooked. The girls working there were quick and efficient with our drinks even though there were a couple of people in line. Will definitely come back whenever I’m in Calgary :)!
