★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Great small hole in the wall place that I have been frequenting for over 5 years! The fish and sushi is always high quality and packaged well. Even during COVID, their quality has not been comprised and I recommend the small boat to share for two people with leftovers to spare! (pictured, with an extra two pieces tobiko with quail egg sushi)

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ 4 stars on another well known restaurant rating site is why we tried this place?! The meal started with a sweet miso soup, and lettuce salad on a water bed. Thanks cook should have strained the water prior to serving. The beef gyoza was quite nice, light and crisp wrap and the beef has a strong garlic flavour, dipped in a nice light soy. The karagge was also quite nice but again they did not drain the water from the bed of lettuce so the dish was again under water. The presentation of the unagi don and chirashi Don is definitely the worst we have encountered. Not only on the layout of the dishes, but the chef's knife was not sharp so the pieces of fish looked like they were cut with a rough edge. The rice for the chirashi was too sweet and soft. The rice for the unagi don had a texture that was like rice being reheated by a microwave so it was dehydrated and the texture was not even among the various grains. Apart from the food, our waitress was a bit rough around the edges too. Overall, the price is fair.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ A great little sushi spot near young and bloor. Place is a bit tight, but the food and service was great. They greeted you immediately when you entered in.
The sushi was fresh and their selection was great. I really enjoyed their dynamite rolls and edamame.
Of course the price is a little up there, but like every other restaurant downtown.
I would come back again!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ The small sushi boat is great value to share between two people - it comes with miso soup and its almost $1 per piece! The nigiri has good quality fish and sushi rice but the fish to rice ratio could be better. The rolls had unique and delicious flavors
