Positive: Communication, Professionalism, Quality This gym is phenomenal! Today they re-opened after the Covid shutdown and the place was spotless. They have done an amazing job moving equipment around, cleaning protocols, and so much attention to detail. I wasn't sure about going back to the gym during this pandemic, but my fears were quickly erased upon entry. They have hand sanitizer, arrows and spacing on the floor to ensure proper social distancing and the staff were literally cleaning around the clock while I was there! The staff are always so friendly and they treat everyone like family. Thanks for keeping all the members safe and letting us get our workouts in!

M	M Imran (AiMaCh) on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I have been a member of this gym since 2018 april (around 4 years). when I signed up like any other gym they gave me a monthly and a year membership option. with the year being cheaper per week costs as they get a contract saying I will be with them for at least a year. I was told at the time of signing up there would be no cancellation fee to cancel my membership after the year period. ( again this is common as I have had this before with other gyms). fast forward to april 2022, I called in looking to cancel as I have had a recent surgery done to my wrist for a torn ligament and I wont be able to lift weight for a long while or ever depending on how it heals. I was told I have to pay a fee for remaining 8 weeks ($200+)after giving them a 6 day written notice. after talking with the employee in phone ( who was great and helpful nothing against their staff) I was told after asking a few different questions. there is a cancellation fee on the membership no matter what. even if I cancelled within the first year or after 30 years. so pretty much seem like they dont care as a company for their clients other than getting money out of them. to summarize I have to pay $200+fee to cancel my membership after 4 years after being told I am only locked in for a year. don't do here because unlike other gyms their contact is for life and there a fee to cancel no matter the time.

This is very evident by the high turnover of staff, and poor corporate culture which carries over to the customer experience. Definitely choose a different gym as there are plenty in this area of the city.

Confusing membership rates and was unable to cancel through Covid. ended up with a number of late charges because my card expired when I haven't used the gym for nearly 3 years. I could not recommend this gym to anyone as their business practices feel dishonest and predatory.

I haven’t even started working out and went to ask to cancel day pass and asked for a refund because I don’t want try the gym anymore. Instead sent me to to the VIP as they don’t do refund. VIP not that impressive too. All money grab. It’s just for the sake of having a gym. Not going to recommend this gym. DO NOT GO HERE.

The ONLY reason to have this policy in place is to force people to continue to pay for a membership they're not interested in having for a longer period of time, knowing people are more likely to take more time to physically come in to cancel their membership that it would be to do it online or over the phone. On top of that, they don't do immediate cancellations (even OUTSIDE of a yearly contract). They expect 8 weeks extra. Disgusting business practice. I was considering coming back after finishing my contract at another place, because it is cheap, but after this experience I will not be back. I would rather pay more somewhere else. EDITED TO ADD: The company claimed that the staff makes this clear to all costumers, but they absolutely never mentioned this to me at any point when I signed on. Maybe it's their policy to mention it, but they clearly don't always follow it. It should be in a written contract to ensure clients are well aware.

However, I wanted to write in to give praise specifically to one of your yoga teachers, Roseanne. I'm a yoga newbie and I've been attending her classes. She is extremely talented but more importantly she makes me feel welcome as someone new to yoga. She creates an inclusive environment and offers alternatives for each pose ensuring that each participant feels comfortable. I usually attend her Stretch & Restore class (which is wonderful) but I decided to try Morning Movement today and was blown away! I came in feeling frazzled with holiday season worries. Through challenging poses and breath work, I got both physical and mental exercise and felt totally zen by the end of the class. I highly recommend World Gym Southland and Roseanne's yoga classes!

They have tons of equipment to choose from and very competitive rates compared to other gyms. If you haven’t checked these guys out yet I would definitely recommend it! Also shout out to Jasmine for all her help and being a great manager! ?
