S	Shahdan baraka on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Was the best thrift store in Calgary until 2017 after that they stopped displaying toys and random kitchen stuff,vases and indoor/outdoor decorations. Prices are really cheap and affordable
S	Shell schön on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I was referred to WINS by my social worker. When I went to my scheduled appointment, I was told by Rebecca that they didn't have an appointment for me. She then implied that I was a liar for this mishap, claiming that their staff don't make mistakes like this. She later apologized, but I found this so offensive. I was eventually given the voucher, but they didn't have the items I'd needed then. I later received a phone call stating that because I have legal medical mask exemption, I was not welcome to come into the store without a mask. They couldn't accommodate me and my disability. Rebecca then stated that I could have someone shop on my behalf. A friend went into the store to shop for me and was turned away. I then called with questions, and was told that no one can shop on my behalf except wins staff. After this runaround I suspect that Rebecca is prejudiced against my legal exemption, because she has been rude to me throughout my experience with WINS. I do not believe she has the empathy or skill to be working with folks in need.

I worked in their warehouse and even brand new items were sent to recycling and garbage. Pictures attached are from garbage cans and recycling boxes... so sad to see so much waste
R	Ramie Lewis on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Went to donate a perfectly decent office chair. Very good condition other than a small"worn spot" on the leather of one of the chair arms. Lady told me it was "unacceptable". Like what? Not only was the woman there to receive donations a grump,. completely not someone who should be greeting the public. Are they expecting only absolutely "brand new" donations? 40 minutes to get there for this. NEVER will donate or try to WINS again. There are other resources.
