★ ★ ★ ★ ★ It's a great place and lots of things for kids to do. However, as a parent I'm very disappointed. Recently our child had an accident and a very bad cut on the face. After a trip to Winkler hospital and then Children's hospital in Winnipeg I cannot recommend this camp. We got a call from the staff and they did not tell us the truth. They mentioned by phone that it was a minor accident. We live about 1.5 hour from camp. After 2 hours waiting for another call we decided to call Winkler hospital and we were able to talk to the doctor and he told us how bad it was. We didn't get any calls from the nurse from camp. No calls from the director either. I'm very disappointed how my child's accident was handled. I cannot trust this camp to care for my child for 5 days in case of an emergency.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Went to check out the chapel at the camp for a event that I'm helping organize. The staff were very friendly and helpful, answering my questions and taking time to explain different aspects of the space. The chapel underwent some renovations, having a new PA system installed, which sounds really good. The room is not completely treated for sound, but despite that, it still sounds great. In my photos the pot lights are on, but there is additional fluorescent lighting, a projector and large screen with HDMI that runs to the back of the room. The stage is quite roomy, with removable thrust (the stairs in front of the stage) and curtains that that can be pulled across the front. Honestly, I'd like to check out the rest of the camp and get a feel for what it feels like.
