When I think of Tenth, I think of community. That's what a church should be. Welcoming. Open to all. And a place where not only can we all come together to worship, but we can also build lasting relationships outside of the church. Throughout my years of attending Tenth, I have met so maybe great friends β€” as part of the congregation, as part of small groups, or as part of a mission team I served on. There are so many opportunities at Tenth β€” through programs and events all week long β€” to connect with others, to share in our desire to know God more, and to ultimately serve as brothers and sisters in Him.

Been there for 6 years and absolutely love it! Warm, friendly, inviting, and Spirit-filled, Tenth is a melting pot of a variety of cultures, socioeconomic backgrounds and ages. It is a church that anyone can feel comfortable bringing a friend to. One of the best things I like about Tenth is that it has excellent teaching whether it be on Sunday mornings (have not yet heard a bad sermon!) or during the weekday in the form of seminars, workshops, and courses with guest speakers from all over the continent and many from Regent College. Tenth's amazing team of pastors and auxiliary staff is warm, friendly, approachable and available, and has provided much encouragement and support in my own spiritual journey. Tenth is also a great place to meet active people. The church has a run group that meets every week and a cycling club that will be cycling across BC this summer with the Love in Motion Tour!

What has attracted me to attend Tenth Church is that is allows for different ways to experience God. My personal spiritual life is fairly unstructured and I have difficulty adhering to a rule oriented structured church service unless discourse and dialogue is possible. Tenth Church allows for variety. They really value the arts and culture in our city as well as being involved in local social justice issues. Going to church is also a big part of our family life experience. We have found a creative christian community at Tenth where each family member can feel connected. Marian, designer and mom of 3

It was a little intimidating stepping into Tenth for the first time eight months ago. The church is on the larger side, I didn’t really know anyone, and, quite honestly, I had no idea what to expect. My hesitations soon dissipated, though, and I felt welcomed from the start: there are so many avenues to meet people, opportunities to serve and resources to help you spiritually grow. Perhaps the thing I appreciate most about Tenth is its focus OUTSIDE the church building to connect with the community, both locally and internationally. God is clearly moving here; Tenth Church is a vibrant, warm community that embraces every individual from every walk of life.

Church values are to be a place where people of all different backgrounds can discover Christ, a community of spiritual transformation that seeks social justice for all. They live it out. A large yet welcoming church passionate about impacting Vancouver and the World using Jesus Christ's teaching and vision to transform the work and people. Also a strong focus on Environmental Sustainability and caring for God's creation. Love the worship music especially at the evening sservice. I found great community and friendship here and been blessed by this church personally. Highly recommend checking it out.

I can only describe Tenth as a larger church with a small church feel. There is such warmth, joy and genuine care for others not only from the pastors and support staff, but throughout the congregation. From my first visit, I felt welcomed and part of a Spirit filled community. Tenth truly feels like an extended family and there is a real sense of belonging. There is a wonderful tapestry of ethnicity and age but they have one common thread; simply to love the Lord and others. The β€œConnections” dinner was a nice opportunity for me to hear about their doctrine as well as their involvement in the local community and missions abroad. I highly recommend it if you are thinking of Tenth as your home church or if you wish to be involved in one of their many ministries. The Sunday services are simply wonderful. The sermon, worship music, and people bring serenity to my hectic week and a new perspective about life. If you are visiting Tenth for the first time, feel free to let someone know. I'm sure you'll be greeted with warm hearts and open arms.

A medium-sized church that is welcoming to people of different backgrounds on their spiritual journey.

Large church but feels like small church community. It has the resources of a large well run church but it has the community that cares for each other and deeply gets to know one another like a small church. All the advantages of a big church with multiple programs and courses and volunteering opportunities, constant new people coming every week but the people are so welcoming and open. Love it
