The staff is kind and professional. They never claim to be a medical centre, but peer counselling. They let people make up their minds of their pregnancy. in a time of crisis, we need people like them who are not biased.

Im not sure why there is such a low rating for this place. They have been wonderfully supportive throughout my pregnancy. They check up often. Always willing to talk about any problems you might be having, as well as offering free zoom classes and donation like maternity clothing.

I appreciate what this organization is trying to do through counselling women around pregnancy matters but if they want to avoid bad reviews they should make it clear on their website that they are not a medical center and do not provide abortions. It is stated in small font at the bottom of their page but it would be beneficial to add this information to their description on google, their about us section, their abortion section and their home page so that those seeking abortion who do not require counselling aren't misled and don't waste their time (especially since when you search "abortion vancouver" this centre pops up). I will be happy to take down this review once this is updated.

I went for a test at the centre, and I was not sure what to expect! I was nervous, but felt comfortable from the few conversations I'd had on the phone with both ladies who answered. I then showed up for my appointment which they could book me for within the week, and I was so pleasantly and kindly met. I had an hour long session where I got to talk about what was going on in my life, and why I was there, and felt compassion and empathy and no judgement. I was able to see all my options with no external pressure! After my session, I was offered to come back and discuss my life more if I wanted to talk about my relationship or just come back for more support. I wish all hospitals and ladies centres were met with the same love and accommodation that the Crisis Pregnancy Centre provides. A place you'll be met with support and connection, and no pressure for you choices :)

A safe place to come as you are and receive neutral, non-judgmental, confidential, cost-free, emotional / practical support, and care. Great staff... honestly great people. Super approachable and genuine. Not a medical facility and doesn't pretend to be one. This center exists to be a safe place for anyone facing any circumstances including crisis situations and unexpected pregnancies (no matter what you choose). They're there to listen and support you. They can also help you find other help and services in the community through like support groups, classes, hospital programs, housing, and material support. This place is truly a gem in our community!

Lydia was awesome and super helpful for my wife and I as we are navigating pregnancy for the first time. We didn’t feel pressured one way or another. I don’t know why people have a problem with not being an abortion clinic, it’s not advertising that at all. It’s a great place if you need resources, support groups, options on what to do. Will recommend to any friends and family going through pregnancy

Just look up crisis pregnancy center and you'll see the first line on the wiki page said their purpose is to dissuade women from getting abortions. Look on their facility sign or their website and you can see that they focus on non-abortion options. Peer counselling and pregnancy testing do not a real clinic make. These types of facilities are a huge problem in the states, especially in areas where women do not have have safe access to abortion clinics without driving very far and turn to these places thinking they will help them. Having one on Main Street is very surprising. Do your research before visiting here and know that you certainly have other "options"! "Five years after having an abortion, over 95 percent of the women in a landmark UC San Francisco study said it was the right decision for them." (Social Science & Medicine, Jan. 12, 2020).

Can't be more grateful with this awesome place with amazing people like Lydia. She guided me through all options about parenting and gave me hope and emotional support as I needed to know what path I wanted to take in the event I was pregnant. Talking to her made me feel confident, supported and very comfortable. Thank you Lydia for your genuine and kindness personality.
