Truly terrible customer service. It seems to be run by a bunch of entitled types too busy doing their own mysterious tasks to bother much with the customers. When they do finally turn to us, it’s with a huffy and unhelpful attitude. Will definitely not step foot in this store again.

Staff were unhelpful, and kept trailing behind my wife and I the entire time we were in the store. Very uncomfortable.

Williams Sonoma is a great high end kitchen store located on Granville street in Vancouver. They have an extensive range of name brand cooks tools, appliances, knives, and cookware. The prices are relatively high compared to other stores like it, but they do often have discounts. Usually nothing over 20% off, with the exception of black Friday and boxing day. Customer service in store is great as the staff are very knowledgeable of the products and willing to answer any questions you may have. Edit: A warning about Breville appliances. TLDR: They look fantastic, but do not last and customer service is a pain to deal with. 2 years ago we bough the IQ kettle by Breville from Williams Sonoma. Last month or so, both of the plastic water windows as well as the lid formed cracks. I immediately stopped using the kettle for fear of burning myself or electrocution. My previous kettle, some cheap one from Costco, lasted the better part of five years. When I tried to call Breville, I could not reach them for hours. Only when I woke up super early and called did I get a response. The lady on the phone told me that I had to pay $100+ to get the kettle fixed. That was ridiculous because the kettle was only around $130. After haggling for a while, she told me that I could have the kettle repaired for free. Fast forward one month after I sent the kettle over, I received a refurbished kettle in the mail. There was a big ol' scratch on the side and the cord was real dirty. Cannot say that I am satisfied with this experience. That being said, Williams Sonoma is a five star store, Breville is a zero star company.

The associates were incredibly helpful and accommodating with a request I had. Very grateful for their help! The store has great selection. Prices are on the higher-end but quality is at par.

Really bad customer service and so far not happy at all about my purchase. Ordered a Japanese chef knife online and within a month of purchase the tip of the knife chipped off from cutting chicken. Reached out to customer service right away I haven’t heard from them in 2 weeks. Would not recommend purchasing from them.

I used to shop a lot at this store. It was one of my favorite shops but I will not be shopping there again. Today, I had the worst shopping experience I've ever had at this store. A year ago, I bought a two-piece Green Pan set and loved its quality. Yesterday I went there bought the same item again. This time, when i brought it home, I found that the quality of one of the two pans was exceptionally worse, instead of glossy, it was matte and felt greasy. I used soap water to wash it, still matte. I took it to the shop today, the store manager Atesh Kant tried washing it too but the pan stayed matt and greasy. Even though the difference was noticeable, he denied that there was anything wrong and undisputedly refused to exchange it. At the end his attitude become very arrogant and from how it looked, he surely didn't care if customers will come again or not. I was shocked and angry. I didn't expect the manager of a high-end store to be so sly and unreasonable. He didn't even want to provide me with an explanation or an excuse to why the pan's quality was so different. I didn't expect it is so difficult to exchange in this store, not even to mention returns. I am a long time customer of Williams Sonoma and I was extremely disappointed in their service today. I will not be coming again.
