Wild Wing

This is my fourth time in about 6 years. Sorry no pics. I have never done a review, because nothing out of the ordinary has ever jumped out at me. Fortunately the time was in between lunch and dinner and I had a guest to feed. We both had the Rib and wing combo with fries, the meal was good enough for me to write this review. The ribs were fall off the bone and delicious the wings were the norm, but great with the dip and the fries were very, very good. The service was good and the meal deserves four stars, but once again the bathroom was clean but stale, more stale than the other times I've been there, that deserves a two star so the average is three stars. Next time, I'm in town, I make one last try to see if I can make it a four star. Good food..... Update, 10/29/2019. A supplier bought me dinner this time. We had the "smoked thai" and the "some beach" wings, with fries and also kettle chips. They were really good and our waitress (attendant) Kelti did a great job as well. This was by far my best visit. Also worth mentioning, the washroom was smell free. great job. This location has earned four stars. The rating is based on the service, attitude, food quality and environment.

I stopped in for a quick lunch on a Saturday around 1:30. It was fairly quiet but picked up quickly. Service was prompt and pleasant even though our sever was slammed by quite a few arrivals within a short span. I ordered part of my order to go, and even that was handled efficiently. Food was typical nuggets/wings you find in wing chains, the fries are of the frozen variety. I enjoyed it, it's nothing revolutionary. I thought the price for what you get is a little steep. Two pounds of boneless wings, a pint and a pop were $50 after tax and tip.

You would expect a place with "Wing" in it's name to have at least decent chicken wings, but these were just awful, even at half price. I've had better wings from bad pizza places. I ordered 1lb of classic (non-breaded) wings, and based on the texture and complete lack of flavour I'd say they came straight out of a microwave or some sort of industrial steamer. Soggy, mushy, many had broken bones. Really just not appetizing at all. I wasn't able to finish them, and that's saying something because I was really hungry at the time. I was hoping for a nice spicy Buffalo sauce and was told that "medium" was their version of Buffalo, but in reality what I received was closer to that watery residue that comes out of a bottle of ketchup when you don't shake it enough. If they can't get a simple Buffalo sauce right, there's not much hope. Even at half price (Tues special) these were not worth the money at all. It seems like this place is just hoping you'll drown these wings in one of their 100+ weird sauces so that you don't notice how substandard they are compared to other places. Do yourself a favour and go to a Buffalo Wild Wing instead.

Had a double order of "Dirty Nelly" flavored non-breaded wings. They were very saucy, which is my preference and was a combination of buffalo and bbq flavor. Service was friendly and prompt. The wings were a good size with lots of meat and were very juicy. Fully enjoyed!

Tuesday's are great- half price wings with a drink purchase. Huge selection of great wings. Awesome service and very quiet during lunch.

Do NOT pass through these doors... keep walking to Makimono or Montanas or anywhere else but here. This place was horrible. I can't describe it better than that. I usually have a lot of patience. It was Saturday night and there was sports on. However it was not overly crowded. We were led to a table by an employee from the bar. She cleaned our table which I appreciated... then we were forgotten. For 15 mins we sat there in the middle of the restaurant with servers bustling around us. Not one person asked us if we wanted drinks. Not one person asked us for a drink menu. Not one person looked at us. Not one person asked if we were ready to order. I was wondering if it was maybe we smell. But my son and I didn't. When I was about to just up and leave, someone came by and took our order and I complained that I thought we were forgotten. There was no apology. She took our order and left. We got our food promptly though. And the Pepsi was fresh, cold and tasted great. But our mozzarella cheese bread was greasy and limp, and the wings tasted like Wal-Mart's great value brand. Nothing to write home about. I've had way better elsewhere. When we recieved our food, we never saw our server again. She didn't come to see how we were, if we needed a refill, napkins or hey maybe some ketchup might help.. nothing. I finally got fed up and I went to the bar and asked someone for take out containers and the bill and that we were leaving.. If that took too long, I was prepared to slap down some bills and just leave. Lo and behold that was the ONLY time we saw our server appear and move fast. It's almost like she wanted us out of there... Hence if you're looking for food to eat, this is not the place... if you're looking for drinks maybe it's the place. Me on the other hand, I will never venture in this place again.

Tonight we tried a few new flavours and we were not disappointed. I had the Medium Lemon Pepper, fiancee the BBQ and Dill. Service as always was top notch. It's one of our favourite spots.

Food itself was great but the service was lacking. Waitress seemed a bit lost but was very nice, she forgot to bring us our appetiser ( we ended up getting it at the end of our meal but it was free) took 3 times asking to get napkins. Service was slow for a dead Tuesday night. Waitress were on there phones behind bar. One Waitress behind bar was making out with another employee. Not really sure how I feel about my experience here but it was lacking.
