Have rented from these guys in the past, but recently saw this in Tofino, BC parked across the street from an elementary school. Van reads "The secret to a successful marriage is to keep his stomach full and his balls empty". Called customer service to suggest that writing a blatantly sexist slogan on a company van is probably not a good idea and was told that it is "none of my business". Don't think it's likely that I'll rent from these guys again.

Great service. Staff super friendly and always willing to accommodate my needs. The van was fantastic, with all the equipment we needed. Highly recommended!

Even after all the bad reviews i decided to give wicked campers Vancouver a Chance. It was my first time ever driving with a van from wicked campers, so i had no idea, how it is going to be. But i can tell you even with some tiny things that are not so perfekt, i truely loved this car. But to give you guys a clear picture of what it means to go on the road with a wicked camper, i am going to give you a small review. Me and a friend did a 3 Weeks trip from Vancouver to Banff/Jasper and Back, around 3100km we drove. First thing: we loved our paintings, but we met other campers that pasted over some of their paintings, because of to bad words. You need to decide for your own, but we never had problems because of that. Instead because of such an unique van we actually met a lot a people that came to us a started talking with us about our car, so i really made our trip better. And the car? Well driving it is really diffrent from what i am used to. They are all automatik and the steering is not the most precise and the brakes are not so strong like to ones you are maybe used to. But we drove a lot, in town, on Highways, Mountain(serpentine roats) and a bit dirt roads. We always made it perfectly. Sure those cars are old, but if you know how to drive a car and how to take care of one, than you wont have many problems. They are also getting checked at the garage, but optical things like small stonehits on the window can still be there, because there technical control board in canada. Our equipment was also nice and small. In the trunk we had a cooling box, a shelf for dish, spice, pasta... .Also cups, a pan and a coocker was there. In the middle of the car we had also chairs and a table to sit outside. And there we could also build up our bed (picture). It was really comfortable for 2 persons with 1.8m lenght (more is possible). Also you can make it dark with a curtain. After our trip we also had no problems getting our deposit back. I dont know it took, but my friend told me it was there at the end of the month (one week later). Also i really liked the guys from wicked campers. They have a nice fresh kind of humor on are willing to help when you need them. So all in all i can tell you our trip was amazing, and an importand part was that car. It made our trip special. I hope all the other one will have the luck to experience the same.

Decent prices, cars have a cool paint job. The dishes weren't clean when we got the van, and the inside was not vacuumed. But the stuff was very nice, we got pillows and blankets provided for free.

My boyfriend and I rented a red van that included a very comfortable bed for 2, a hand-pumped sink, camp chairs & cooking utensils. They were extremely accommodating when we had scheduling troubles and had to move our trip by one day. They were also flexible with our drop-off time, which we appreciated. Would rent again!

Nope, next time I'm in Canada Wicked Campers will not be my car rental service again. Staff: Very friendly and professional. Quick service. Price & Fees: Price is fine. But the fees... 25 days from Calgary to Vancouver. One Way Fee 350$ (I had a BC plate on the car so I drove this car back); Premium Location Fee 100$ (???); Booking & Admin Fee 124$ & tax. + You have to clean the van by yourself if not 250$ + tax Road Assistance: I had a flat tire. Actually not really a problem change spare wheel and go to a car repair service. And I know I have to pay by myself. But first problem was the tool did not match with the screws, so I needed road assistance. My advice: Save your time do not call Wicked Campers road assistance (This guy asked me things like: "Did you ask other people on the campground?", "You turned the tool in the correct direction?" or something like that) or this Auto Club America, search on Google Maps next towing service, much quicker, same result. Good thing is, I got a refund for the towing service. The Van: I had the "Reservoir Dogs" Van. I really like the paint job, nice work! The van has up to 420'000 km, it is from the year 2004. It's old and you definitely will see it. From time to time the engine warning light goes on. It lost oil, inside the van a few damages (but of course they are from customers), if it's a rainy day you will feel that also inside the van (it's leaking), kitchen furniture is broken and so on and so on. This car need definitely a big service. Finally: Overall I think all they want to earn a lot of money with as little effort as possible. 1 Star for the friendly staff 1 Star for the refund

worst van experience ever, the van was in a pretty ugly conditions, the mattress was basically never washed. the heating was not working properly. the backdoor didn't close so we have to pay for parking with surveillance. we spoke with the Vancouver office manager and he said that they will come up with a solution but we never had any response from our texts after that. I made a claim to the customer service and they replied they will follow up to the management team then they basically never replied to my 4 email since November.

Best decision I have ever made and the best trip of my entire life. First of all, the Van is absolutely rad!! Absolute steal with value for money. Service from the guys and Ian at Wicked was perfect, simple, no fuss and very clear and straight forward. They also did some really nice perks for us including: Renewed Canada parks permit 4 months so we didn’t have to pay for national parks. Also let us register and take the van the evening before to set off on the road early the next morning Very clean and service pre lease, also COVID friendly and some gas already to get you started. Overall the Van was solid and comfortable, had plenty of amenities including camping stoves, washing and sleeping facilities including tons of storage. For a rough estimate guide for those thinking, from Vancouver -> Kelowna -> Banff -> Calgary -> Jasper (via Icefields Parkway) -> Mount Robson -> Kamloops -> Van including stops and hikes etc was around 2980 kilometres round trip. Van was also extremely good on gas to be fair which I didn’t expect around $80 to fill up on a full tank, a bit more when I’m Vancouver due to inflated prices.
