★ ★ ★ ★ ★ U-Lock Mini Storage is a 5 star facility. The whole place is clean and well maintained. There are many options for locker rentals, small-large, indoor and outdoor access. Upon the rental of a locker you may use their moving truck for 1 day free of the rental charge, you just pay the gas. Some minor restrictions apply. For some people this is very helpful and a generous offer from U-Lock. Their hours are a bit limited so U-Lock is not for everyone but the Security is by far better than anywhere I've had storage in the past. There are always staff members on site and they are a great group of people, friendly, helpful and fun. I definitely recommend U-Lock Mini Storage!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I was thrilled when we started here. The cost is higher then other places however its clean, monitored and secure and heated. We were only keeping stuff in storage while we are in between sales of our homes so not planning on staying long. All good! We were told when we were debating signing up that we get a moving truck FREE for a one time use, all we needed to pay was for gas. This is fantastic. We signed up that day as thats a huge cost and will make moving stuff out easier.
I just called to book their truck for moving our stuff out and turns out that is not the case. Karen, who turns out to be new, told us a lie and the truck is only offered as a move-in incentive and not available when you want it. We are not able to use the truck at all as its a move out not a move in.
Seems like there is a huge miscommunication going on here and as nice as the facility is, its not worth the cost. There are other heated, secure and monitored self storage places for cheaper. Use that saved money on a moving truck.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Great experience over 4 months. Started with a larger unit to accommodate furnishings while we awaited completion of a new condo. Subsequently downsized twice as we purged and right-sized. Helpful, courteous staff; clean and well maintained units. Highly recommend to family and friends.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I haven't used the self storage but I have rented a U-Haul and bought boxes here. The people working here are always friendly and helpful. Fyi you get a discount if you buy more than $100 in boxes. At least I did, your mileage may vary.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ My son rented a storage unit and a U-Haul rental truck. The staff is personable enough, but not overly helpful. They neglected to give him any access instructions to his storage unit when we first checked in. He was given keys which we thought was all he needed to access his storage unit, even after-hours. When we showed up just after closing hours (8 pm), it was locked and we had no access nor any after-hours phone number to call for customer service. It was only when he showed up the next morning at opening, that they gave him the access instructions and the proper keys.
Because of this lapse in customer service, he had to rebook his flight for another day, costing him over $500.
Similarly, when we picked up the U-Haul truck the woman behind the counter (same woman who gave us the wrong keys) couldn't even help us with how to change/move the side view mirrors. She said that they're a small operation and really only have two trucks, which seemed to be enough of an excuse for not helping us acclimate to driving a truck. We had to google how to move the side view mirrors. In my opinion, if they're going to rent trucks to the public, their customer service agents should know the basic functionality of them.
Since we had to keep the truck longer than the rented time (due to not having the correct keys for access to the storage unit) they didn't charge us for the overage, which was one small concession. However, it doesn't make up for the extra $500 we paid in rebooking his flight.
My advice; be sure to ask about every single detail, as they won't offer it, and be sure you are familiar with driving trucks.
