Great local company offering everything you could need for a move. We bought tons of boxes and other supplies from them throughout our move and rented their 16ft truck. Their staff is always friendly, knowledgeable and willing to go above and beyond to try to ease the stress that moving brings. Will use them again and would recommend them to anyone!

Rental rate was fair, truck was ready when I got there, so all started good, but be VERY careful of your gas. I was told the truck had a full tank and to be sure to bring it back full - well after I refilled it, it became EXTREMELY clear it was NOT full when I picked it up. As we all know you can't tell from the needle on a gas gauge if a vehicle is truly full or not and this obviously wasn't. I put 30 liters of gas in yet had only driven 33kms!! That is approximately 2.5mpg or 91 liters per 100kms. These vehicles typically get about 3 times that mileage and are rated (real world, not manufacturer) for between 7.5 and 8 mpg. I was not expecting an issue, I just expected some compensation /reimbursement on my rental for having obviously put in a lot more gas than I had used, but the staff would not budge at all. Even accusing me of potentially putting the extra gas in a gas can to try to scam them. At that point I did get agitated and truly annoyed!!!!! The whole suggestion that I had put extra gas in a can indicates that he knew I had bought more gas than was appropriate as well. Even based on what they told me, which was that they routinely see about $1 / km in gas cost for these trucks, I should have been putting 20 liters in, not 30!!! and even that is horrible mileage for this type of vehicle, but may be related to how full the back of the truck often is, but I was only moving a single refrigerator, so it was largely empty for my usage. This should have been a simple $15-$20 credit against my rental (I provided $50 in receipts for the gas purchased) and instead they insulted me as a customer while executing fraud in their business - NOT ACCEPTABLE.

To the owners of SS storage - I'd give your business “minus 10 stars” if such a rating existed. As a senior, and a retired Architect, who has lived around the world, I have yet to come across UN-discerning behaviour of this level of baseness. Chose this storage due to proximity + being pressed for time before leaving to the Island and having to deliver possessions to charities not fully operational due to Covid. Moved to a different storage company within a month of being with sunnyside in April 2021, out of disgust. There's the Man-Child manager and his Minions, who “perform” outstanding “customer-service” till they get your business. Shortly after, I'm being talked down to about “loitering” if I was at the storage for more than an hour trying to catch my breath between purges – what?! Absurd as it sounds - given that this is what a storage is about...! Yet - they seemed ok with some man using the storage as a shop extendedly welding pipes, blasting loud rock music... probably the manager's uncle, or, the guy was paying them under the counter...who know !? I suspect none of these Entitled Brats have experienced anything related to travel or moving, don't know much about "respect" nor have much going on in their small lives other than rotating around like mice in a maze, slamming storage doors which is their mundane mindless job.

Rented a van for a few hours and it was a great experience. Staff were very accommodating of our ever-changing schedule and worked with us to get us the best rate and timeframe for our rental. They are highly recommend and we will use them again in the future.

Friendly and efficient and easy to work with. I've used Sunnyside for almost 4 years now in two different units. I've rented units before and I cannot praise Sunnyside enough. They have always made me feel welcome for using them. They were quick as possible regarding changing to a smaller unit and very accommodating when I needed a trailer for storage. Even when updating my payment info they are nothing but friendly and professional.They are also fully stocked with moving supplies.
