From his offer to remain open until I arrived to deliver my machine, to being greeted so warmly by Sadie with her special surprise for customers. Peter goes above and beyond to help his customers, he takes the time (uninterrupted) to explain and problem solve with his customers. His turnaround for me was 18 hours!!! He had my machine completed and ready to come home in”18” hours. He quoted , “a week but probably sooner” and blew my mind when he called to say it was ready. If you are in need of service, repair, parts, advice, wisdom or just a warm personable chat about a common interest; Peter is your guru. Do not hesitate. Thank You Peter!

In minutes he solved my issue, fixed it on the spot, plus gave me an incredibly informative demonstration on my machine. He clearly laid what all of the extra parts were for and how to use them. Keep in mind that I did not purchase my Janome through his store. His passion for sewing machines is obvious. He has an easy going manner and said if I needed any thing sewing machine wise I could call on him. Highly recommend. I will be back.

The 3rd machine was purchases fall of 2020 and is from Mechanics Choice. This one is amazing as it is computerized with programmable features that allow for needle up/down setting, auto trim, back stitch beginning and end of seam and many other features. I love this machine and it was very cost effective. The features save me a lot of time. Thanks Peter for all your assistance. I highly recommend Whitby Sewing Machine.

Thank goodness I found Peter. He understood I was in a hurry and said to bring it over. It was fixed in less than 24 hours and the most amazing thing was he gave me a sewing lesson re dos and donts of my particular machine. Now I've had my machine for over 30 yrs and yet I learned so much that I didnt know. Peter is absolutely amazing and so knowledeable. He also has YouTube videos re sewing tips etc. I have had my sewing machine repaired many times over the years but never had a great experience like this. Thanks so much Peter.

Peter suggested keeping the machine even if I decided to buy a new one and promised to make it sing again. I was skeptical and thought it would have been done once he opened it. WOW with a giant smile was my response when I heard it going. I don’t know what he did but my machine has never been that smooth and quiet while operating. Peter went above and beyond going through what he did and showing me some tips for better productivity while sewing. He was awesome. He took his time to explain and was very thorough without being pushy; excellent teaching skills. Peter is funny, warm and welcoming. I panicked thinking I’d have to buy new and way I’m too old a cranky to want to learn another machine. While frantically flipping through sewing machines on Amazon, it occurred to me, that there might actually be someone that fixes them. Thanks to google I found Peter and Sadie. He kindly took it in the next day and fixed it while I did my shopping. He not only un-jammed it, but showed me what to do if it happens again. (Note to self; don’t use upholstery thread when sewing cotton.). He also showed me some cool tricks that I had no idea existed. All this was accomplished with Sadie overseeing the whole operation. My machine runs like a charm and I was able to complete the order. Peter and Sadie, you are rock stars.
