These guys know their sewing machines! I brought mine in and within 45 mins it was repaired. They even had suggestions of minor modifications to improve the usability of my machine and recommended a more appropriate transformer for my european model. Very helpful, and super fast service. I highly recommend Johnny's Sewing Machine for good honest service.

These guys are great! A year ago I took my Singer HD to a more expensive sewing repair place. They charged me $130 for servicing and didn’t even fix my alignment issue. Johnny Sewing fixed my issues the same day and for a fraction of the cost of a big company. I’ll be using Johnny from now on.

He was great, decent, good price (tiny pricey) but worth it. I brought him a computerized superb singer sewing machine. It wasn't working as I broke the needle, and some parts were almost glued together due to lack of proper maintenance.. Long story short, I brought it to him and he had it fix within 2 hours almost as new. Totally recommend. He provides warranty and receipt for his service

Based on the online reviews, I brought my Singer 3201 machine in order to repair/replace the gears. Little did I know how unprofessional and unresponsive this company was. I've owned a business and dealt with clientele for the majority of my life. Communication is key. I brought the machine on June 15th and I was promised that it would take 14 days for the company to repair it. His quote was a $40 non-refundable fee to inspect the machine alone and then another $60 to repair it. Okay, I was fine with that. As long as the machine was fixed. What can I tell you! Every 2 weeks I would call and was confronted with very rude responses to my inquiry: It was like I was being unreasonable to ask if there was an update. There were times when I would call and he would answer: And then promise me that he would call back the next morning to give me an update. He never did. After 3 months, I had enough. I visited the repair shop 4 times when he would not take my calls and was given empty promises. We finally visited the store one last time and picked up my broken machine. It was only then that the store owner advised us that he could not find the part and that I should throw the machine out. Worse was that when I picked up the machine, the company marked the plastic body of my machine with permanent marker! After much haggling, I only got a partial refund of $10. As mentioned earlier, the company told me that the Singer no longer manufactured the gears for this machine and that I should buy a brand new machine from them. This was not true. After speaking to several other sewing machine repair shops, I found out that Johnny Sewing Machine Inc specializes in industrial sowing machines. Not home ones. No wonder! After searching around, I finally found a GREAT repair shop in the west end! It was a little bit of a trek but well worth it! And the machine was fixed in 7 days. Buyer beware!

I needed a very small screw for my machine as mine had broke. These guys found a compatible screw and had me back to work in no time! Thanks J.S.M.!

Nice place to go when looking for a sewing machine, both used and new. Prices are fair and Mr Johnny was really nice and friendly, he made me laugh all through my stay in the shop. I hope to keep going there for my sewing machine needs!

CAVEAT EMPTOR Brought my sewing machine in for tensioning adjustment and threader alignment nothing was done. I returned to show them my machine only stitches well when on high tension. They told me don't adjust the tension. I bought a pair of magnifiers and fixed both myself. I also did experience the rudeness factor. Lesson learned - Do it yourself!
