★ ★ ★ ★ ★ A nice hike through the forest, alongside the water, to get to this spot. There are 2 ways to get here; the Sandy Cove path or the Whippoorwill Point path. You can also go one way and then continue on to complete the circle around the shoreline. There isn’t a beach at this location, just a beacon and a bench. There is a nice view to enjoy though. The photos of the beach are from Sandy Cove, which is also nice. To get here, there is some climbing over boulders at the beginning of the trail, but not too bad.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Such a beautiful spot. We took the Sandy cove trail and it’s a bit of a scramble over boulders and loose rocks in some sections. Trail is dog friendly, but be sure to keep your pup on a leash. We parked near the resort and the entire hike was about 5 km, with a few steeper sections.
