Don't bother coming here if you want to rent anything that's not a power boat. Had us waiting in line for 2 hours while they helped power boat customers book boats for tomorrow. One customer that knew that we all had been waiting asked the woman to help the people in line first but the employee refused. Terrible customer service they should at least tell people in line that they won't be helped for hours

Had a great experience at this boat rental. The boat that we rented out was really good. If you aren't used to riding a boat or haven't been in one that is not driven by a professional, the experience can be little scary. Harrison hot springs is a beautiful place and a must visit in summer if you are In Vancouver.

I called on Thursday to reserve for Saturday morning since their site notes in person or phone call reservations. Voicemail box was full so I emailed them and Steven responded the next day and told me to just drop in. Site notes hours are one hour after dawn to one hour before dusk... we showed up at 9am and everything was closed. So I called the number again and someone picked up and said since the weather was not great they told their staff not to come in, and that they open at 10am on bad weather days, 9 am on good days. I mentioned we were already there waiting and he said he would be on his way and be there by 10am. So we just walked around and fished for a bit till 10:20am.... still no signs of staff. I read a review on Tripadvisor that noted their hours are super willy nilly and unfortunately I have to agree. They have a customer willing to pay for a rental waiting at the dock, and they couldn't even be bothered to show up at the time they provided, or call back that they were going to be late (or perhaps not going to even open!) So glad they didn't force me to make a reservation because I would have been out full payment as well (no refund policy). That's not how you do business. I gave them 1 star because they responded to my email promptly, but 0 stars for actual service.

DO NOT RENT FROM THIS COMPANY. I can’t stress this enough! Some of our passengers fell off of the floatie tied to the back of the boat and got stuck in the water, when we tried to drive the boat to them the motor wouldn’t start. This resulted in more of our passengers trying to jump in to save them but with the high currents it was impossible for them to swim back. The radio on boat was NOT answered, we were lucky that there was signal on the water and called in. When I stressed that our passengers were having panic attacks in the water and was near drowning the owner actually LAUGHED. Absolutely disgusting behaviour, we were lucky another boat saw them and saved them in time as the company was taking their sweet time. When the owner finally came to rescue the remaining people from the boat he had no remorse and made us feel even worse than we already were. Not once did he ask if everybody was okay or try to comfort us. All he said was that it was our fault for getting the rope stuck in the propeller. The training is completely incompetent as we were unaware that this could even happen without warning. However the real kicker was that he charged an extra $150 for SAVING US. This is on top of being cut short of our time and not caring at all what happened to our passengers in the water. An employee actually told us that if we had called Coast Guard they wouldn’t have charged us. This company is extremely inhumane and refused to take this charge off or even hear our concerns about the traumatic experience. DO NOT BOOK WITH THEM!! Would give 0 stars if I could.

Very disorganized. Tried to rent a boat Friday after work. Called multiple times during the day to check if there were boats available, including during the 20 minutes it took us to get out there. Waited for 1.5 hours (3 adults and 5 children 6 and under) while being told repeatedly that they would be with us and there would be a boat available for our group. After 1.5 hours we were told there wasn't a boat available. They should better organize groups as there were random people everywhere. Also need more staff if they can't figure out how to keep up. Will never try to use or recommend again

Do not rent from them otherwise your whole experience will be ruined This company and the staff they're not professional at all with no respectful matter .we came on a birthday party. that gone wrong. we got on the boat and halfway the boat just stopped working so we called in for help if took them 30 minutes to come to us and then 45 minutes to go back and after all that even though it was their fault and we did called for help ..we were charged for the extra time that the boat broke down and the time they came to help us everything came out of our pocket simply because they didn't want to pay for the repairs. man they want us to pay for it " which we did because of the deposit they took" so what I recommended no ..and never will I come again and I'll let all my friends and family know ahead of it what is going to happed if they came. and even though I can they are big company still hope for improvement

We rented a double kayak from here just this past weekend- early October. It was the end of the season / low season, so they have better pricing. The guy said they aren't always open, as they are starting to put away some of their boats, but we were lucky to catch them. It was an easy process to rent and we had an excellent time paddling on the lake and river. The lake can get choppy and windy, but they shared with us how to stay safe. We aren't super strong kayakers, but felt confident out there. The river is much calmer and we saw a bald eagle and otter. It was a fun two-hour activity!

They are the only rental company in Harrison Springs. I believe it is a family owned business. It seems that the entire family is running it. Having said that, I think they should try to employ more staff. I expected it to be busy but the wait time was way longer than expected. I believe they can be more organized as well. They are always out of power boats so make sure you reserve. We ended up with a non power boat. It was okay, tiring paddling but I had fun considering it was the last resort to have fun in the water. The staff do try their best and were helpful.
