About Westside Endodontics

Dr. Davis loves to see people smile. Prior to commencing graduate studies at UBC, Dr. Davis worked as a general dentist in Calgary and the area for over a decade. She owned her own practice in downtown Calgary and then after the birth of her daughter, practiced as an associate dentist.

A proud Calgarian and active community volunteer, Shannon has served as a board member for non-profit organizations including the Calgary & District Dental Society where she served as president in 2020-2021.
In her spare time, Dr. Davis enjoys golfing, hiking and downhill skiing with her husband and daughter. She also loves to travel and has done volunteer dentistry in Jamaica and Honduras.

β β β β β Dr. Davis gave an excellent detailed explanation of the surgery required to save my molar. I went ahead with it and everything turned out better and with less discomfort then I expected. Great friendly support staff. I highly recommend Westside for all dental surgery.

β β β β β I had so many problems with a molar abscess, pain, swelling and adverse reactions to antibiotics. My experience with Dr. Davis and her team is that she is very professional and kind. She took me in took on short notice and then even bumped up my second appointment to ease my pain.
I immediately noticed that Dr. Davis, Sacha and Chantal are very caring and efficient. Perfection is the goal. Youβre made to feel welcome and the office is absolutely beautiful. All areas are clean and orderly. Youβll find this team provides top quality service and they use state of the art equipment. I couldnβt find the confidence to trust three different dentists so I am extremely grateful to Dr. Davis for taking care of my pain. Direct billing is a huge plus as well. I trust Dr. Davis and I would highly recommend Westside Endodontics. Iβm so glad I went there.

The front staff are genuinely friendly and empathetic, ensuring a timely appointment within days to relieve tooth pain when other Endodontist practices in Calgary would not accommodate for weeks! β β β β β I haven't even had my root canal yet and I can confidently give Dr. Davis 5 stars. I visited her office after a horrible cycling accident that resulted in the displacement of some of my front teeth. She put them back in place after one of my other dentists didn't do the most ideal job and set up a treatment plan for me that will involve root canals.
As someone who has only ever sat in a dentist's chair for a cleaning, I was naturally very anxious when learning about my tooth trauma and the subsequent procedures that I required. Dr. Davis made me feel calm and comfortable both while I was in her office and afterwords when I called back with incessant questions.
Throughout the course of this accident I have seen and spoke with many doctors and dentists, but it wasn't until I was in Dr. Davis' office that I truthfully felt like everything was going to be okay. Shannon is one of the main reasons I have been able to positively move on from my accident, accept what happened, and look forward. Dr. Davis gives me hope that I can save my smile and maintain a healthy mouth for many years to come. Thank you!
Oh, and her staff is incredible. Patient, kind, incredibly helpful when it comes to insurance, let me squeeze the feeling out of their hands, and just generally cool people.

β β β β β I am very happy with Westside Endodontics. I had a very painful infection and was exhausted from the pain which was quite excruciating. It was clear that everyone at Westside was prepared/able to deal with emotional and upset patients. Everyone was kind and extremely nice and checked in with me multiple times to ensure I was doing okay and handling the procedure well. Everything was explained very clearly to me - what was wrong, potential complications, what was going to happen etc. I have a lot of dental anxiety, so I appreciated the time taken to ensure I understood and was ready for the work. I felt very cared for and confident in their work.
