About Global Kids Academy
Global Kids Academy (GKA) believes "Great Teachers Make Great Students."
Based on the belief, we have a caring and highly-qualified team; most of our teachers have a Bachelor Degree (a Bachelor of Music, a Bachelor of Education, a Bachelor of Early Childhood Education, a Bachelor of Special Education, a Bachelor of Nursing, etc), and all teachers have a clear Criminal Record Check, including a Vulnerable Sector Search, and a First Aid Certificate. Each classroom has a headteacher and teachers depend on student-teacher ratio.
At Global Kids Academy all our teachers are dedicated to educating our students to develop to their fullest potential and build the best foundation for their fulfilling and successful future in a warm, creative and academic environment.

Meaningful and engaging activities. It is kept clean and the food is great! I have no reservations about recommending this place to anyone. A+ (I'm an elementary school teacher)

β β β β β I am working at Global Kids Academy as a teacher for two years. I am having amazing work experience. Employer is very cooperative and helpful. Excellent facility with great staff. The teachers are very nice, seem to love the children very much and treat them as their own. Employer is always happy to see the kids and are taking very good care of them. They have a very good facility with lots of toys and they do lots of fun activities.

β β β β β My daughter has attended Global Kids Academy for two years. Overall, it has been a positive experience for her as she has developed many friendships and skills that will help her transition to kindergarten in the fall. Her teachers are kind and professional and the facility is set up well and located in a convenient location that is along my daily commute to work downtown. My daughter's favorite activities at the Academy include the dance and yoga classes. I recommend this Academy to anyone looking for childcare in the south side of Calgary.

β β β β β Both my son and daughter go to this place since they were 1 until Kindergarten. I could not recommend this place more. Always well organized and clean room, highly friendly and responsible teachers. Besides the great learning experience, it also provides all kinds of activities kids can enjoy, such as science class, yoga, ballet, music class and kids concert etc. Most important the director is there between 7:00am to 6:00pm all year long, to make sure everything is going well, and always responds to our questions and concerns quickly, nicely and helpful. Both kids love this place, and it gives us peace in our minds during work!

β β β β β Our daughter has been attending Global Kids Academy for just over a year now. She has been in both the baby room and the toddler room. The teachers have been amazing in both rooms and genuinely care about the kids. My daughter loves going to school everyday- she is also a big fan of the afternoon clubs and often comes home practicing her yoga poses. We really like being able to see her on camera when we miss her and have never had to worry about her once. The school is clean and has lots of educational toys and books for the kids to play with. The programming is really good and my daughter has learned so much. I would definitely recommend Global Kids Academy to other parents.

β β β β β Our family made an appointment with Lucia on a Saturday due to covid restrictions. Not only did no one show up for our meeting, no one called us back the following week despite a few voice mails left to try and figure out the mix up. If you have a young family like we do, you know the challenges of getting everyone ready and organized for timely outtings, not to mention coordinating busy schedules. A ghosted meeting with no call back is an apolling level of incompetence.

β β β β β Our daughter attended GKA at both locations from ages 12months until age 3 (having left only because we moved to a different area of town). Have nothing but wonderful things to say about the quality of the programs and cleanliness of the facilities (especially throughout this pandemic). Much appreciation to Miss Lucia and all the wonderful educators who've been involved in our daughters care. Highly recommend!
