CEFA Early Learning Calgary South - Calgary

My family and I had just moved to a new City so we were anxious about getting our daughter into a new school programme. However, the team at CEFA made us very comfortable. They communicated clearly and helped us through the early anxiety. Today my girl is thriving. She loves going to school and she adores her teachers. She tells me about her science projects, French class... I love that she has so many subjects areas to keep her engaged. Another thing, CEFA gives parents a daily update of what their child has been up to, it's the best thing ever! It brings me comfort plus I love getting a surprise picture of my daughter. If you are looking for a group of kind, kid-focused professionals to take care of your child CEFA gets my vote.

This school is absolutely amazing. My kid comes home everyday talking about how great of a day he has had. The teachers and staff at CEFA are so kind and treat every kid like they are their own, and the program at this school is incredible! I believe it really sets your kid up for success in every way. When looking for childcare for my eldest daughter, CEFA was the only facility that could meet all of our families needs. From my initial inquiry to our daughter starting at the school, the staff at CEFA have consistently demonstrated professionalism and care in their administration of an incredibly enriching program. In fact, my daughter enjoys the program and staff so much that it is often difficult for her to leave at the end of the day! The communication at CEFA is fantastic! Not only are staff easy to contact directly, the app, Kindertales provides parents with multiple picture and written updates throughout the day which makes us feel like we are part of our daughters learning adventure. The app is also very convenient as it is a one stop spot for messaging, attendance, payments and daily updates. The staff are amazing and they know each child that walks through their doors. They immediately took the time to understand my daughters specific needs and encourage and support both learning and personal goals. As mentioned, communication is easy and the administration is always happy to answer questions. My daughter absolutely loves her teacher and everyone is extremely friendly and welcoming. Our daughter is in the Jr Kindergarten program which is a perfect play based approach to learning with many hands on projects and art activities.There is also a secure outdoor play space and indoor gym for physical activity. The program is very engaging and monthly special days are incorporated in the learning experiences. My daughter loves the meals and snacks provided throughout the day which are well balanced and very nutritious. Her favourite are the black bean brownies! We are so thrilled with CEFA and highly recommended it!

I recently went back to work and my seamless transition was certainly due to the phenomenal educators and staff at CEFA. I’m beyond impressed with the level of care, communication and quality of education that my infant is receiving. I really enjoy the app that helps keep me informed throughout the day (diaper changes, how much food she ate, length of naps). As an educator, I’m also very content with the programming: crafts with a focus on fine motor development, letter recognition, science experiments, etc. CEFA Early Learning Calgary is an excellent choice that I would recommend a thousand times over!

My daughter has been at CEFA Calgary South since it first opened in June, 2020. The commitment that the staff have in contributing to her social, emotional and academic development are obvious and significant. The staff regularly communicate with updates and photos through both e-mail and the KinderTales app. I have full confidence in knowing that my daughter is in good hands and appreciate everything that the staff does to support her development. I would recommend CEFA to any parent that is looking for a well-rounded daycare experience. CEFA offers a holistic approach that caters to the needs of young children and prepares them for future learning.

My eldest daughter started with CEFA in April 2021 part time as I was on maternity leave as we felt she wasn't being challenged enough in her old school and was therefore acting out. She has absolutely loved her time with CEFA. She skips in the door everyday telling us all about school. Even their summer program is fantastic. The teachers and all staff are so professional, personable, kind and attentive. They really have your child's best interest at heart and are there to assist your family in whatever way they can which we have greatly appreciated. I have just returned to work and am now also sending my baby girl to CEFA along with her sister full time. Though it is only her first week, they have been so kind and caring at helping her to settle in. She hasn't cried once at drop off in the mornings as she really likes it there. Being a baby of covid times she didn't get to mingle with people or kids her own size. All the staff have been amazing at helping her to settle in. Moving to CEFA was the best decision we've made for our family. Thank you to all the staff for making our transition for both girls so easy.

My experience with the CEFA Calgary Team has been exceptional. My son has been a student at the CEFA center for the past year. The staff there are professional, welcoming and show a great deal of respect for the students and their families. It’s always a great feeling to see the different programs that are brought into the site + the excellent variety of food. I’ve seen a great deal of growth in my son during the time he has been at CEFA. He loves his teachers (Sam & Jolene) as well as his classmates. Overall, I am pleased with the JK3 program and I am grateful that my son had the opportunity to be a part of it. I know he will do great in Kindergarten and beyond thanks to the education he received at the CEFA Calgary.

We have had a great experience with having our children with CEFA Calgary South. Everyone is kind, responsive and really professional. We have both our daughters in the school and in both programs we see that they really enjoy it. The consistency between the two programs is really great an a testament to how the school is run. We know exactly what is going on through effective communication. We honestly wished that we would have found CEFA earlier. It's a great place.
