The receptionist is rude and unhelpful (that’s if she even bothers to answer the phone at all.) The man who answers the phone on the weekends is much more polite although they make it very hard to get an appointment here. Overall, it is a very inefficient walk in clinic and typical of Quebec. This province has awful medical care (by far the worst in Canada) and I look forward to leaving.

I tried to book an appointment and the receptions on the phone told me incorrect information, saying they "could not create a profile at this time" and to email them information. I had previously told them what days I could be made available and my name. When I call them again, they hung up twice, and when I finally get them on the phone 20 minutes later, apparently everything had been booked.

I've been trying to take an appointment for weeks. When you call, they say to go on bonjour santé that never has available appointments no matter what time you log in! I called, an automatic message tells me my dr has no appointments. Ok. I can understand but then doesn't refer me to the sans rdv clinic and hangs up. I call AGAIN, take the option for sans rdv, no appointments available and send me a link to Bonjour effin Qc!!! I am irritated beyond belief....? **EDIT** Used your app. Asked for an appointment today, tomorrow, next week. Same answer and get this: call the clinic!!!! Gotta be kidding us!

I tried to book an appointment many times. Nobody answers. Last time spoke with the receptionist. She was rude, uncaring and once again i was transferred to nowhere. Is it any chance to get an appointment here? It seems no chance. Nobody cares.

Some fifth-floor staff is transphobic in serving clients, as is as least one doctor. (I never want to hear "he-she" said again, or to have staff calling an extremely polite correction and statement of harm as "traumatic.") Doctor stared at my post-op trans body, poking me once, and refused to wear a mask during our appointment--which I thought was against the law, but there we are, with the mask under the doctor's chin (zero mouth/nose coverage). If you are seeking trans-related healthcare, are trans, or are higher risk for COVID, be wary of the fifth-floor clinic.

My husband made an appointment for a friend from Gatineau at this clinic. The doctor sent him for a PET scan and was eventually diagnosed with pancreatic cancer. Our friend returned to Gatineau to try and see a local doctor. The doctor asked that he get the CD from his PET scan. He and his family and my husband tried to do so repeatedly, but the clinic would not send the CD. Our friend suffered greatly for the next four months until he passed. But not only did he suffer physically until death, but he, his family and friends suffered psychological/emotional distress from the thoughtless, cruel and unprofessional treatment by the medical and secretarial staff at this clinic. My advice: do not bring loved ones to this clinic, but if there's anyone you want to get rid of, this is the place!

I really urge anyone seeking care to look for another clinic. The receptionist is rude, uncaring and thoroughly unprofessional. Same for Dr Cassandre Bénay, who could not be bothered to look at my file and literally opened the appointment with « so what do you think you have? » after nearly canceling because he couldn’t find the referral my doctor had sent him weeks prior.

Disturbing experience. After receiving a breast ultrasound to check for breast cancer, the clinic sat on my results for a month and a half. They made no effort to contact me. I sent emails and called but could not get in touch. When I finally did, I found out the doctor overseeing me no longer worked at the clinic. They did nothing to ensure I had access to my results (which by the way could have been cancer). I called on February 18th, in the evening, and the receptionist refused to connect me with a new doctor or translate my report to me (which was written in french and therefore I could not understand it). When I insisted I needed help and she wasn't being compassionate, she hung up the phone on me. I called and called back but no one answered. At this point it's been a month and a half and my family is anxiously waiting to find out whether or not I have breast cancer. I've had some tough experiences in our healthcare system, but this receptionist is by far the most disgusting person I've dealt with. Zero compassion, immediately defensive, with zero social skills when people are awaiting potentially stressful results. She shouldn't be in healthcare. Anyone going here, I advise you to take your healthcare very seriously.
