The service is outstanding and warming, as soon as you walk-in you feel welcomed. The staff is very helpful and will answer all of you questions. They are definitely passionate about pets, my puppy feels like a star every time we go for a check-up. You can also get an appointment on a very short notice which is great if you have tight schedule. 12/10 Would recommend to anyone looking for a qualified vet!

I honestly never write reviews, but I wanted to share my experience in hopes of warning others. I will never come back here for medical advice. About a month ago my puppy managed to steal and ingest some of my birth control pills, and I was brushed off with a mere "just keep an eye on him" - thankfully I called another vet for a second opinion and was told that because of the brand/strength of the pill i was on (a question I was never even asked by Vet Griffintown) I should absolutely bring him in for medical attention. Today, for unknown reasons, my puppy had an upset stomach, so I went to get some probiotics and gastrointestinal food - I asked the technician for help figuring out how much to feed him, and she incorrectly told me I should be feeding him twice as much as is actually recommended for his weight. Moreover, despite me asking for medical guidance in this, she never explained that I needed to feed him slowly in small quantities or it would just induce more vomiting to the poor dog who was already suffering (which is unfortunately exactly what happened). I finally took him to another vet, where he was given a thorough examination, and I was given proper explanations on how to care for his symptoms and ensure his wellbeing. Honestly, I would not recommend bringing your dog here - it felt incredibly unreliable and negligent based off of both times I've been to seek help.

The tattooed vet cares about animals, but the one who looks and acts like a Karen only cared about peddling Royal Canin, is haughty, and don't care about you and your pet. She wouldn't listen when I told her I found the diet for Sasha to stop having bladder problems and judged me for not buying Royal Canin from her. Btw Royal Canin is TRASH and they it sell it to you for commission and kickbacks. Also they are still not allowing you to go with your pet in the examination room, when Clinique Pointe St-Charles does.

We’ve been clients of this clinic for years. Our dog had an ear infection today and we were told by the groomer to go a vet immediately. We called. They had open spots and they’ve decided to keep them for more urgent problems. I’ve called them back to tell them they would lose us as clients if they couldn’t help up and while I explained my situation they just hung up on me. I will never go back there. I will tell all my relatives and friends not to go there. Avoid!

We have been going there for almost one year now since we got our puppy. The customer service and the care received are not acceptable considering the fact that you pay for all services provided and it is in fact not a public system. Many times they have an attitude when answering the phone or questions. We tried to remain there because it is a clean clinic close to our home, but we will not return for veterinary care. Vet Dix 30 (Brossard) was wonderful for our dog’s neutering, both in the customer service received, care, and prompt communication with us. For Vet Griffintown, choose another vet, it will be worth it in the long run. I am providing a detailed explanation of the context for the instances where the service was subpar. I apologize for the length of the review. 1) They forgot to call us for 2 puppy vermifuge doses and they forgot to put us on their email list for the standard vermifuge doses (April-December). When I asked how this happened, the technician kindly apologized and said that the vet had put it in her notes to call us but she must have forgotten. When the vet came, she told me: “On va vous les donner les prochaines doses alors faites juste continuer”. There was no apology. 2) Because of COVID we had to drop off our dog for appointments. Now that we have gone to other vets, we enjoy and are thankful for other vets who allow us in the room during the appointment. It's our first dog and a puppy and it makes such a difference. 3) When we pick up our dog after appointments, it is never clear if we can talk to the vet afterwards and no info is provided. When we did talk to her, it was in the middle of the clinic near the entrance (no confidentiality, no sense they are paying attention). One time my partner brought our dog back to the car directly. We realized we were missing a lot of info, he went back in with the dog and asked for the vet. When he pointed politely that he wasn't sure if he could talk to her because the tech hadn’t mentioned we could talk to her, she said: "Ben, je vous parle là maintenant." Again, no apology or acknowledgment of the miscommunication between the team members and with us. 4) Our dog has had 2 episodes over the past 2 months of intense, unexplained diarrhea + vomiting. When I called those 2 times to make sure it was best to go to DMV, they told us they didn't have any openings for emergency appointments and that we should go to 24/7 vet hospitals with a tone and arrogance that would make anyone uncomfortable. No follow-up appointment were offered. 5) For the past 5 days our dog had a red and inflamed ear. When I called to ask for an emergency appointment, they told us they would call back. They called 4.5 hours later at the end of the day, late enough for us to not be able to get another appointment elsewhere. Vet Griffintown left a voice mail saying no medical treatment was needed but an ear cleaner that they can sell us at the store. I called back explaining my dissatisfaction for both the delay in calling back, the communication, and the poor medical advice provided since we had tried already an ear cleaner. They offered an appointment for the next day but we were able to get an appointment at another vet in the evening (during which we obtained medication for otitis requiring urgent treatment). 6) Disappointed by the lack of reliability, I wanted to cancel any upcoming appointments we had. I was put on hold for several minutes, and they finally found our appointments on file after several minutes of searching. They are often inefficient for such a simple task and I encountered this difficulty several times.

This is a business, not a health care provider. As such, there is little empathy for your animal, especially if it interferes with running the machine. After 6 years with them, when it was time to have my pet euthanized, I was told that there were no slots for 3 weeks. Didn’t ask if she was suffering, didn’t have an emergency slot, and told me they would call back if there was cancellation, as if it were for a check up rather than end of life. It’s a clean place, they sell some nice treats, but they will not stretch themselves even a bit for you or your animal. Hard to get in touch with them, hard to get answers, hard to get help. They are not even good at their own business. Look elsewhere while there’s time.

It is absolutely not a clinic that cares about the well-being or the health of its patients, which it takes for $ on legs only! They are extremely difficult to reach! It is not necessary to have any problem, nor urgency, because no one is able to receive you anymore! If you are looking for a human clinic, good advice and professionals, especially pass your way! I know, veterinarians are sometimes hard to find in montreal, but I’d rather pay even more and go to DMV emergency than go back there!
