★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Called for a home insurance quote and spoke with Gary Downes. He seemed friendly in the first place. I mentioned that I found a pretty good deal from TD insurance, but he still promised that he will find and email me a few quotes.
After a few days, I did not hear back from him, so I messaged him to check in. NO RESPONSE.
The following week, I messaged him again, and he just simply replied "you're looking anywhere between $1600-1900".
Wow, what a "professional" response.
I would've appreciated it if he told me sooner that he's not going to bother sending me a quote, just because he can't beat the price. I would've gladly find someone else instead of waiting for his response and needing to chase him down.

Aurora, Kristen, Cheryl and Lisa always look after us professionally, with courtesy and a smile! I could renew my vehicles on line but then I wouldn’t get the chance to catch up with them! They are fantastic at their jobs and they work together so well! As long as they stay with the company, Westland will continue to get our business!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Gary Downes at Westland Insurance is the best insurance person I’ve ever dealt with. When everyone else just ticks boxes in a computer program and says “no”, Gary finds solutions. In a world with so much lacklustre customer service, it’s just so nice when you come across someone, like Gary, who will actually help you, instead of just shrugging their shoulders. Plus, he seems like a pretty cool guy. You should definitely do all your insurance business with Gary.
