★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Sent my pet through WestJet cargo from Vancouver to Calgary. Phone inquiries and the booking process was very easy as long as you have the weight and measurements.
The cost to send my pet + small carrier was reasonably priced, and they told me I would receive a call when my pet is ready for pick up. However, about 2 hours after the flight has arrived, I have yet received a call and proceeded to call cargo myself. I asked at around what time I should be expecting a call, but they told me they don’t usually call but that I can go pick him up in 30 mins. For me, it wasn’t a big deal because I took the time off to wait for my pet, but I couldn’t imagine someone anxiously waiting around for a call that might never come! Cargo staff was extremely friendly to deal with and the pick up was smooth and easy.
