I would advise any other western financial location but this one for one specific reason. Kayla courtney is the single most unprofessional and arrogant agent I have ever has the displeasure of dealing with. Be it changing a policy, resulting in a price change, with out consent on more then one occasion, to blatant disregard for time sensitive matters. I have already been in contact with several companies who have had the unfortunate experience of dealing with her as well. There have been calls emails sent off to make sure that her behaviour and inability to do her job will be noted and action taken. I advise finding ANY other agent, other than Kayla Courtney, or else you too will be in the poisition where an agent will refuse to reinstate a policy or redo a policy based on her unwillingness to do the job she is paid to do.

We came in a couple weeks ago and ended up sitting with Pam Flannery for the first time to discuss our existing policies. Since meeting her that first time, she has really worked for us getting several aspects of our policies straightened out. She even went to battle for us pointing out an error that the insurance company made, to the insurance company, and got them to correct and back date overcharges that existed for over a year! Getting cash back from insurance and it’s thanks to Pam’s efforts!

At this Lethbridge office, I have had the worse experience of my life ... purchased a new car, called to get it insured, I was told $910. I went to get the insurance as I was told to β€œdrop by the office on Wed” then was told $1450, and after obtaining the insurance - a week later, the insurance billed me for $1,809 !!! Their team is so unprofessional, argumentative, rude, and has no clue how to deal with issues. Especially, their Team Lead Amanda McKee who told me β€œthis is it and no change β€œ and when I said this is a scam and I need to speak to someone, she asked me to leave the office. The worse experience of my life and btw, I got better insurance for more than half there price.

Trudy has helped us with a few of our insurance needs and everytime she if very quick and easy to deal with. She answers any questions we may have so we are able to understand. Also she is always a cheerful supportive person all around.

They have completely botched my insurance. I had business insurance, three company vehicles, and a building. They *forgot* to put insurance on one part of my business last year, and then increased my rates significantly this year. Then, on two of my vehicles, they said they didn’t realize they were for business, even though the insurance was in my company’s name, and dropped my coverage after I had already paid just two weeks prior. At first they refused to give me a full refund, but when I finally contacted the branch manager directly she said she would take care of it. So far I haven't seen a refund at all. All of this after they begged me for my business. Completely incompetent and unreliable. Even if they offered to give my business insurance for free, I wouldn’t trust them.

I went into Western Financial last week and met with Amanda McKee. I've dealt with insurance brokers from other agencies for many years, and I have to say that Amanda's knowledge and professionalism was absolutely amazing. I really had fun dealing with her and felt extremely comfortable giving her the personal information she needed to give me a proper quote. I will definitely be switching my insurance over when it is up for renewal. I left there feeling not only would Western Financial take care of me, but that I made a friend too.

Was promised that I'd be called back twice, never happened. Wanted to add a vehicle to my policy and was told it's not possible with just the VIN. Ended up calling a different branch and my request was met with no problems. Felt like my business was not important at this location.

I was with Western Financial for about 9 years and always had good service until now. I was recently in the process of buying a house and I wanted to bundle my home and auto insurance together as I already had auto insurance through them. I recently walked in expecting to get an application filled out quickly because I had another appointment in 45 minutes. When I walked in, they gave some papers to start to fill out for my home insurance quote. Firstly, I am a new home buyer and have no idea about the meaning of alot of the terms that were being asked on this form. I was expecting the Western Financial agent to fill the form out WITH me so that I could ask any questions that might arise. Instead they sent me to a desk to fill the form out by myself while they were talking to each other about there personal lives. Near the end, after struggling to fill the forms out to the best of my knowledge an agent was walking by and asked if I needed any help.... After I gave them the forms they told me I'd get a quote in a few days. Previously their agents have always filled the forms out for me on there computer while asking me questions that needed to be asked to fill the forms out quickly and accurately. That is what I was expecting and hoping for. For me, that is good customer service. I never did get a quote for the house insurance from them. I went with a different insurance broker. 3 stars cause they used to have good customer service.
