They say you will get$300 if you start an account and meet criteria..Well did that and it is well past the waiting period..and even messaged financial manager,and branch manager..still no money..like how banks do not have to pay on time. Way to stick to your own terms and conditions!

The only thing that beat the lack of empathy was the lack of common sense displayed by my last interaction with one of the staff who just called me . I have had no problems with the staff at any other branch . However if there was a zero stars I would give it to this branch . Borderline rude and condescending.

If you like being condescended to, having your motives questioned about how you spend your OWN MONEY, and a solid lack of common sense this is the bank for you!! Unbelievably terrible. Will never set foot in here again thanks to not one but multiple horrendous experiences. Scotiabank corporate should be investigating this branch. Went to another branch in the city and they completed my transaction with a smile and not a single question.

Really poor service. Scotiabank seems to not want to send paperbills. This is the third time I have brought it up with them. And once again treated in a condescending way. By a low service employee. Cannot even respond I figured that would be the way they handled problems why would they be different now? Thank goodness I basically left there because of the poor service I received from them in 1995. Other than one small account I left there I have had nothing to do with them and I have been much happier at the local credit union. Cannot even send paper statements they did that on there own accord. I guess just one more time an employee received a bonus for saving the company money and did the action without notice to me and without consent. This bank is terrible no wonder there place in the top five banks has dropped. I will laugh the day national bank is ahead of them and they will be number six when that happens only two more places to drop. Lol.

So after so many issues with scotiabank I've finally moved banks and everything I've ever had with scotia over 11 years to the other bank, but I finally had time to go in today to close my accounts and didn't they charge me 16$ for it being the 8th of the month meanwhile on the 30th they already took that fee so they double charged for it because they are scammers. A d the customer service manager there is terrible she has no respect for anyway besides herself, is very snarky and is very unhelpful. Along with the branch manager of this location, I recommend anyone having issues with scotia to leave, its not hard, a bit of a pain yes but totally worth it to be valued at your bank of choosing. Will never be recommending scotia to anyone I know and will be advising anyone with scotia to pull out before they screw you.

I had a very bad experience at his location, I will be pulling my accounts from this institution and going forward with another bank as the service that they provide is very very poor. I reached out to the branch manager to call me back and she refused, and instead had a very rude customer service manager phone me who I had dealt with in store and again she was very rude on the phone and they were willing to do nothing to help me during one of the toughest times. I would not recommend any one go with scotiabank, they are not in it for the people or the community. Very disappointed after 11 years with them.

I came with the same problem twice but this time the lady in the desk was so rude. Didn’t help me out what i asked about. Even though she was rolling her eyes which was so disappointing as a customer to ask for help.

The lady working wouldn't cash my $100 cheque and I've been with Scotia Bank for 16 years she was very rude and tried to put a 5 day hold on a $100 cheque. I would not recommend doing business here!!
