★ ★ ★ ★ ★ What a treasure we have here in Ottawa with WEST END KIDS! I outfitted my children there and now I am doing so with my grandchildren! The Owners and their staff are so knowledgeable and helpful and they make the shopping experience , whether online or in store ( pre COVID) enjoyable and easy! They carry wonderful brands that truly live up to their reputation. Their online presence, whether it’s Facebook , Instagram or their newsletters through email are very informative and lovely to see! From season to season they have you covered! Thank you WEK! ????

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I don’t think it’s legal not to allow your customers to come in without the proof of vaccination. Spent 40 min driving with the kid for nothing.
Public health authorities did not implement a vaccine mandate yet, but you already came up with your own.
Update: It’s not legal for you to ask my personal information regarding the vaccines I am taking, as of today. But you consider me not being fair for giving you 1 start for not letting me to come in and wasting my time, despite the fact that my child got upset too.

The staff are very knowledgeable and are even able to recommend sizes without seeing the child in person. Online ordering and curbside pickup have been amazing during the pandemic for our immunocompromised kiddo.

I've recommended WEK many times to other parents just because you always leave with everything you need to ensure you can have a safe, warm and happy winter. They are a family owned store who make sure their staff and customers are kept safe during such crazy times. Thanks as always Sheba!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ This is a wonderful store with knowledgeable staff and owners who put the health and safety of their staff and customers first. You can't beat the personalized and accommodating customer service that is often missing at big box stores. We've purchased many things over the years for our daughters and we will be life time customers. The owners and staff made sure we had everything we needed to get our daughters through their first cold Ottawa winter. I cannot recommend West End Kids enough!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Terrible customer service. The owner is very rude and not helpful at all. We bought a Columbia winter coat for our son with a defective zipper. She would not return it, she doesn't want the hassle to deal with it. She even claimed that the coat was last year's model, but we'd bought it only a week earlier. All she did was give us Columbia's contact details. The true test of customer service is when there is a problem with the product, not just when selling it to you. After spending hundreds at this store we are left with a defective coat for my 6 year old and the hassle of dealing with the manufacturer ourselves. Buyers beware. Never again.
