Best Duty free store in Canada

I	Island Don on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Great staff: helpful, friendly and knowledgeable. Their scotch selections are astounding. Prices beat all three of the other duty free stores heading south into the States. Also, it sits at Pacific Crossing which is always faster than Peace Arch. 3 litres of Crown Royal for $60 CAD... UNBELIEVABLE!!!

The person I spoke with was polite and waited for me to look up the exact name. She was very helpful. When I arrived the security guard helped me find the right package, as I'd picked up the wrong one. Great service from great worker bees.

We politely asked where to go and he just says "get out of the gate" very rudely. So while we were searching for somewhere to park, another duty free worker told us we were fine to park there. Suddenly, the same man who tried to kick us out came up and said, "did you not hear what I said? I said get out. I don't care if someone else said you can park here, I'm the boss here. I can do whatever I want. It's your problem not mine". So we left the duty free, and as we were deciding where else to park, this man decides to follow us with his bicycle to KINDLY tell us to get out, for the 5th time. I hope the managers of West Coast Duty Free can see this so that this man can see what he has done wrong. It is never right to treat someone so rudely.
M	Mitch Burrows on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Still open during the pandemic but hours are reduced to 9-5 and you have to know what you want before hand and ask for it through the window. Washrooms are still open, and there is a small parking spot for truckers.

I was told by the staff at the parking lot that I MUST (Yes, must!) make a purchase before I can leave. I tried to explain to him that I couldn't find what I wanted to buy. I originally wanted to buy some cosmetics but there is barely any choices. He replied rudely, "Everyone is looking for something there. Just go back in to buy a bottle of water or something! You cannot come in without making a purchase. You cannot leave here without a receipt." I cannot believe what I heard. I thought it may be because sometimes people just come inside to cut the line. Therefore, I showed him my Nexus card and told him there is no one waiting in the Nexus Lane. I am not doing this by cutting the line. He didn't care. Finally I insisted that I am not going to be forced to make a purchase and he told me, "Then I have to send you back to Canada." Actually you just need to drive out of this duty free parking lot and they would open a gate that will lead you to another small parking lot. There you go, you are "sent" back to Canada. You just make a right turn and you are back to the Nexus Lane. Come on! This is United States, a country that has freedom and we Canadian love to go there to shop. Don't shame your country Duty free parking lot staff by making up such nonsense rules! I CAN LEAVE WITHOUT BUYING ANYTHING FROM ANY STORE! US HAS HUMAN RIGHT!
