★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I took my wool jacket into Wendy to have it be altered up. She did a fantastic job transforming a frumpy coat into something that is modern and fashion forward. I love how it turned out. I highly recommend Wendy. Great price and great quality of sewing work.

There's definitely a bit of a language barrier every now and then but the quality of her work speaks for itself. She's repaired many holes in my jeans and sweaters. She also hems all of my pants. I've never had a problem!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Wendy is the best. I’ve brought so many items of clothing to her over the last few years for dry cleaning and they always come back looking brand new! I am sad her shop just moved to false creek, but I’m definitely going to be going the extra mile to bring my things to her since she is the only dry cleaner I truly trust!
Edit: she’s back in yaletown, on Beatty just around the kitty corner from her old shop!

Her experience is evident as she makes suggestions for alterations that improve the final result, all without being pushy about it.
I throughly appreciated that she made sure everything was perfect to her standard and my liking before turning it in.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Wendy is fantastic and I appreciated that she was upfront on the cost, she let me decide if I wanted to do some of my large alterations. She even kept a pair of pants to do another alteration because she felt the pocket could look better.
She is a pro - handled all my suit alterations and with my odd body measurements she did a terrific job.
She is better in person than on the phone. So if you call and can't get a clear answer just know she is better in person and super personable.

I met her first when I needed a bridesmaid dress altered, but was so impressed by my experience that I ended up bringing a bunch of my clothes to her to be tailored.
It's an eco-friendly choice if you have bought clothes and don't wear them anymore because of the fit. Don't buy something new just bring it to Wendy!
One of the favorite things that she did for me was fix the elastic straps I poorly sewed myself to my winter jacket (so that you can wear it as a backpack). She fixed my mistakes and it's so strong and handy!

She paid much attention to detail and made sure I get the fit I wanted. And she made sure it looked perfect.
She also has great sense of fashion and style and gives wonderful suggestions when it comes to alteration while respecting your own preference. You will be wowed by her expertise and professionalism. Choose her, you won’t regret.
