★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Really pushy sales and no indication of price until its time to pay. They're also not too fond of replying to emails which is worrisome, when I haven't received a receipt for my $1400 suit. I've seen ads for wedding party discounts on social media and their own website but they conveniently forgot to mention them when in their showroom. The service while you're in store, however, is quite nice.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ From the first interview to the final fitting, we received expertise and service that is so far above the normal standard. The process of making a suit here is fun and informative. The options are bountiful without being seeming overwhelming, that's in great part due to the guidance we received by our Stylist Zachary Pagani, he helped us find the options we wanted and at a price we wanted as well. The suit turned out fabulous and looked amazing, the details were eye catching and bold. Obviously the fit is beyond compare, and if for any reason its not, they adjust it locally in a very timely fashion. I would recommend this as the new and only way to get suits. I will definitely be returning for my next suit!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ The experience here was amazing! Zachary helped me update my work wardrobe, worked through all the choices efficiently while being able to field all my questions (I had quite a few). I ended up needing a suit ready in 3 weeks (keep in mind this is around black Friday) and he got it for me in time for a very important work event. He also made sure the fit was perfect going over minor details I would have never seen. The quality of the suit is fantastic as well. I would highly recommend anyone in the market to go over and check them out.

I booked an appointment with William for my fiancé for his reception outfit and we couldn’t be more satisfied with the end result! He was super helpful throughout the whole process and communication was amazing when it came to ordering the outfit/shoes. Definitely recommend coming to Surmesur for your own custom made suit and highly recommend William!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ My husband got his suit custom made here a few months ago for our March wedding. Honestly, we really did not think the experience was worth the cost. We started off with one guy who was about to leave the store and thus it felt like he completely rushed the first meeting process. In addition to that, the sales felt so pushy and rushed. Subsequently, for the first follow up visit, there was another guy helping us. He kept saying the suit look great even though it was visibly way too big. We asked him to get the tailor and then she offered to make some adjustments. After a few weeks, we came back for the last follow up visit right before the wedding. The suit looked a bit better but not perfect... the pants waist was 2 inches too big and the jacket was still too big (and no, he had not lost any weight) but it felt as if we were being pushed out as the sale had already been made. The suit was not what we had wanted and although we explained several times and showed pictures of what style we were going for; we were not satisfied at all. Overall, the experience was not good at all. We ended up taking the suit to a different tailor who did exactly what we wanted but had to spend over 300$ on alterations. The people at this place where too pushy and not genuine and we would not go back.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I feel like I got the royal treatment at Surmesur Vancouver. I was buying a suit for my sister's wedding and had an awesome first experience with Ryan. He gave me lots of insightful advice in choosing options for the suit that would look best. I'm generally indecisive on stuff like this, so it was helpful to have him guide me through the process.
I returned a few weeks later for my fitting with Johnny. The first thing I noticed about Johnny was that he had some type of SWAG in the way he was dressed. He seemed like the type of guy I would enjoy drinking a whisky or two with. I felt like I was in good hands with him and he too was helpful.
Finally, I returned once more to pick up the suit and was helped by Zach, who brought it home with another enjoyable experience . The suit fit great and felt amazing. It's a real treat getting a custom suit made, my recommendation is you do it the right way and go see the guys at Surmesur.

We were able to pick out specific colors and fabrics and all of these details that I didn't even know existed. Harry wore his suit for our wedding in September and he looked so great! ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I had my custom tuxedo for my wedding created at Surmesur. The quality of the materials is definitely much better quality and stylish compared to many other stores I have been to. Zachary was my go to person at this store to help me with alterations and make sure my tuxedo was everything I wanted. Zachary was a pleasure to work with, very professional and gave great suggestions for the alterations needed for the tuxedo to fit my figure. I am very pleased with the result and finish my of tuxedo. I would highly recommend seeing Zachary for any custom suit needs. Thank you for the amazing experience, I will be back for future suit related needs!
