β β β β β Brought my wedding dress here for alterations at the recommendation of the bridal shop where I got my dress and they did a fantastic job! Very professional, friendly and great quality work for a fair price. My dress was delicate lace and tulle and I'm so happy with how it's turned out! I would highly recommend Manuel Mendoza to anyone who needs to have a dress altered!

β β β β β My husband and I went to Alison at Manuel Mendoza for the alterations to our wedding attire and we couldn't have been more pleased with the amazing work she does! Neither of us had ever been to a seamstress before, and therefore were very apprehensive about the whole process, but Alison is both personable and professional and left us feeling like our garments were in good hands. And sure enough, upon receiving back out outfits they were perfect! We got so many compliments on our wedding attire, and I give a lot of credit to Alison for making sure they fit us just right :) Her prices are also reasonable and we look forward to using her services again for future alteration needs!

I got an exquisite strapless bridal gown & matching bolero ( to give a bit more covering). It's a knock-out gown that I have worn on several other formal occasions over the past decade. I also have a formal suit ( with both short & long skirts for versatility) & a stunning slinky evening gown. Every outfit fits like a dream & always turns heads.
Manuel Mendoza Couture truly understands the female form. My dresses will never go out of style, because the design is timeless & tailored to celebrate & showcase my individual body & my unique style.
I loved their "vision" of the elegant outfits they created for me. They saw something about me that far exceeded my own image of myself - amazing!!
Exquisite attention to detail, gracious service & fabulous accessory ideas make this atelier THE place for beautiful clothing!

β β β β β Manuel Mendoza has always had a special place in my heart. I interned there when I was in university at KPU and ever since then I knew I would come back for my wedding dress. Alison is not only a great designer and seamstress but also a truly kind individual. When I got engaged I let Alison know and then we started on my dress. I was having a destination wedding in Spain in the middle of summer so I knew it would be hot so I wanted something light and flowy but also something non-traditional. Alison was able to find the perfect fabric that matched our wedding theme and flattered my skin tone while being light and flowy. We had a few fittings and the dress was ready on time for my trip (even thought I asked for some last minute changes). The team at Manuel Mendoza are like a family and really do make dress dreams come true!

β β β β β Alison is so amazing. I had my wedding dress made in Europe but there were some things I had to tweak once it arrived. With only a month to go until my wedding, I was panicking. When I met her, she was calm and assuring, in the end I had a fitting a week later (it fit perfectly after all alterations!) And walked away with it 2 weeks later ready to go. She worked within my timeline. She's a professional. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend Alison to anyone for any type of attire. She's professional, fairly priced, and does amazing work.

β β β β β Alison is amazing!! I'm so lucky to have found this place - Alison provided me with a very fair quote for the alterations I wanted on my wedding dress and worked with my schedule. She was down to earth and professional and explained the process of what she was going to do with the dress. She also gave me lots of tips and suggestions on what kind of veil would match, which was helpful. I will definitely be recommending her to other brides~ If you're like me, and not sure where to get your dress alterated, I highly recommend Manuel Mendoza ?
