โ โ โ โ โ I took 2 brand new pairs of heels in ( only worn twice) to have the bottom and toe reinforced with a plastic piece put on the bottom. The owner did not quote me before I left the store but I had this kind of work done many of times in the past from other shoe repair places and it was approx $20-25 for ech pair so I was not concerned. I went to pick up the shoes when they were done and he told me the bill was $150!!!!!... I was in SHOCK... this is complete robbery for this kind of service to place a plastic sheet on both pairs of shoes. I told him that he should have quoted me in advance for a service that would be so expensive as I would have taken my shoes back and gone elsewhere. He rudely told me to pay him $90 and get out of his store and NEVER COME BACK!... I was appalled by his attitude and unfortunately had to pay the $90 to get my shoes back and "kindly" told him "This is disgraceful and dont worry I will NEVER come back!" I see that others have also wrote reviews on his corrupt pricing and rude attitude... I would recommend NOT to go here and if you do decide to take your shoes here... ask for a firm price in writing! BUYER BEWARE!

โ โ โ โ โ This is the best cobler in town. His craftsmanship is impeccable and he only uses the highest quality material's. I have also had other leather items fixes there like my purse and belt. I highly recommend him.

โ โ โ โ โ I desperately needed the back of my Dr. Martens boots reinforced, because they were slouching. I decided to go to this place because the reviews were above average compare to the other shoe repairs in the area. The gentleman was very honest upfront of what to expect in terms of cost and aesthetics, and gave me an estimate of how long the work will take.
He called me back into the shop after a couple days to try on the boots because he added pieces to the inside of the boot. The boots were a bit big for me, so the addition made it a perfect fit. Then another couple days later, he called me again to pick up the boot. By this point, he was ahead of the schedule.
I went to pick up my boots on the date of his original estimate, and was very please with the result. It was by no means a work of art, but the stitching was well done and barely noticeable. The final cost was right on with his original estimate. Generally very pleased, and will return for my future repair needs.

โ โ โ โ โ The owner knows shoes very well and recommend a few dress shoe options for me. I started to be more aware of brands and quality vs look. He does great work so just make sure you have clarity on the final price. Want a leather sole to last for years? Itโs good to invest.

โ โ โ โ โ I've brought dress shoes and dress boots here a few times over the last couple of years, and find the proprietor very knowledgeable with fair pricing. Great service, zero bullsh*t. He'll give you tips and tricks to extend the life of your shoes, as well as the pros/cons of different repair options. I've always found him friendly.
I'm sure any style of footwear, work boots included, would receive admirable service.
I'm surprised to see any disappointed reviews, but my advice is to get a quote coming to any new cobbler.

โ โ โ โ โ I have been taking my shoes to Mr. Ho for almost 40 years because he does a superb job and his prices are good. I wear good shoes & he knows his shoes well. One look and he can tell me about the quality & workmanship. I am quite hard on my shoes but can do it all, but mostly soles & heels. I have also had him repair bags such as replacing a zipper or stitching the lining. I do not hesitate in recommending him.
