โ โ โ โ โ Would definitely recommend this place for a quick bite. I was very impressed with this place not only were the staff very friendly, the food was amazing ! I had the Curry Chicken special which was very inexpensive at $7 ! What deal - Extremely tasty served with rice & grilled veggies. The place is very small and cozy. No lineup, my dish was ready in 5 mins. Give this place a try if you are in the area.

โ โ โ โ โ You can easily miss this restaurant while walking down Robson. It may look a little sketchy on the outside, but this friendly family-owned restaurant has become one of my favourites in the city. Great food at decent prices. Portions are pretty big so be prepared to have leftovers or enjoy a very large meal in one sitting.
My only complaint is that the prices on the menu outside is different from the one inside. Probably just because they havenโt been able to change the menu on the outside.

โ โ โ โ โ I have been coming here for years and this is the best food of any type in Vancouver - or anywhere for that matter. I feel satisfied but healthy after eating. Try the garlic chicken and shrimp. Awesome.

โ โ โ โ โ What a great idea โ to cook with water instead of oil, and no MSG! It's been a couple of years since I ordered Chinese take out, mostly because I can't handle stir fry grease and taste, and over abundance cornstarch sauce over my rice. This was different. I had a choice of not having any sauce on my food which meant that I was able to taste the basic ingredients. The chef is also very flexible. I couldn't make up my mind between gai lan or broccoli and they gave me both. He was low on beef and suggested a combination of beef and chicken which is also something not available with traditional Chinese take out. The rice was so good โ they use short grain rice cooked firmly which I prefer over dried-up-7:00-pm Jasmine rice. My overall experience was excellent. Now that I know I can define the ingredients, I look forward to enjoying more of these super freshly cooked meals. The second time I tried this, I forgot to mention no garlic, and half way through, I tasted the garlic. And my tummy did not want to keep the food, which was unfortunate.
