Wellington Park Townhomes - Edmonton

I'm going to edit my original post to say that the management is really on top of addressing any issues that I have. Not sure if it's new management but I am impressed with their concern and response time. The walls are still pretty thin, but during the week it's not bad, and I just wear earplugs at night. I'm not sure that anything could be done about that outside of a major renovation. Anyways, after being here for 3 weeks we are settled in and actually really enjoying our townhouse :)

We lived there for over 2 1/2 years and really enjoyed it. Nice, big apartment, great view out the balcony. All minor maintenance issues were handled usually within an hour or so. ThEybenven installed brand new washer and dryer when the old ones started acting up. There was a management change last year and that began our problems. There was work being done on the roofs of all the buildings and the roofing company did not cover up their work when there was a heavy rain. Water leaked into our apartment, soaking the carpet and damaging the ceiling. We immediately notified the management and they said the damage would be fixed right away. Peter, the manager, said it would only take a couple of days to fix the damage. After several months of no action, he said we could move to a suite while the repairs. ( now called a “renovation”) and we would only have to take our clothes and cooking supplies for a week or so. When it came time for the move, we were told we would have to move everything including our furniture with no mention of who would pay for the move. Peter had completely misled us about the entire repair process. At that point we decided to move out of that neighborhood. We had to go to Peter’s supervisor, Wanda, to get out of our lease. She was able to handle all our concerns and was able to get our deposit back. Then after we moved, she said that the apartment would not be renovated after all! Dealing with Peter was almost impossible, and everything he said was untrue. Perhaps his talents could be better used in some other area of the Westcorp organization. We really did enjoy living there and would probably still be there if not for Peter.

I've lived in my townhouse for over 3 years and I can only say great things about the maintenance team. Jeff and Walter are always so quick to respond to calls and very kind and pleasant to have in your home for any sort of issue. The manager, Peter, is also very kind and makes sure that any issue is addressed immediately. Overall, an excellent place to live.

I have been a renter for almost 2 years, and for that 2 years span I have never encounter any problem especially with the management. I just had a quick bump to their head office again today and had to deal with some concerns, Charu, the community administrator had done me a great huge of deal. She extended her efforts beyond which really made my day! Also their technician Jeff, has been very helpful in terms of fixing everything in the apartment. You just need to call and he will be there right in your door doing the job . I would stay here for more years!--happy and satisfied renter here

cons: 2020 prices for 1990 kitchen appliances. my oven and dishwasher don't work properly. also was told i would have something repaired in my unit within a week and it's been a month. walls are very thin and can hear my neighbors yelling. pros: it seems to be a family friendly neighborhood with good prices.

I would like to compliment Gilbert Mendoza and the maintenance team at Wellinton park townhomes for doing a great job on the snow removal of the sidewalks and laying down enough rock for a decent grip. Please let them know they are doing good job.thank you.

Very bad experience, this is the second property here in Wellington Townhouses that we moved in that is flooding on the basement, its not just flood its a sewages problem, ask the management if they can transfer us in another unit because the cockroaches problem worsen after the flood happen, they said they need to take care of the pest problem first then promise us an apartment that is not flooding the flooding happened in October and February until now they cannot transfer us to promised unit, bad management communication. Cannot recommend it to others as it has a flooding promblem and Pest/Bug problem…

My son and I moved into a townhouse in mid March 2022. It has been newly renovated and is bright and spacious. It’s quiet, clean and seems like a very friendly place. With the few issues that came up, Gilbert and his team have been really quick and efficient to take care of them. We love the Wellington community and have friends close by so we are really loving our new home. Nice community and a professionally managed site. I would definitely recommend Wellington townhomes to anyone looking to rent in the area. Jane
