★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Based on today's experience it was a toss up between 4 stars or 5 stars. The only reason I gave it 4 stars was my experience at the St. James location today was a bit of a disappointment as compared to my experience at the Regent location the day before. For starters I was not offered any whipping cream for my shake. The other thing that was different from Regent was the prices were a bit higher at the St. James location. Other than those 2 slight issues, the classic burger was fresh and it tasted okay. The shake was very good. The time it took to get my food was reasonable and the staff was somewhat friendly. If the classic wasn't on sale today, I may of not gone to Wayback as I find their prices on the high side...but I guess that is the new normal for any type of restaurant...

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Perfect size burger! Awesome flavour. Fantastic onion rings and kettle chips. Will definitely be back. I don’t want to let people know how good it is so I can keep it to myself….. but I can’t keep it a secret. You HAVE to try it!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I love the way I receive the food. Its soo yummy, nice, neat. All the food has a lot of love n effort. Its super tasty. Special tip for everyone, get your fries and anything seep fried extra crispy except the chicken things. It will give a great crunchy taste. Love all the food n beverages ??

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Takeout order for Cheesy Burger(pepper jack), Chilli Cheese Fries, Dbl Bacon Cheeseburger(no onion), Irish Nachos, iced tea & Tangerine Lemonade.
Cheesy burger— Top-tier. Toasted bun was buttery and crisp. Cheese to meat ratio was perfect. Every bite hit right.
Chilli cheese fries — chilli was good, good fry coverage down to the bottom.
Dbl bacon cheeseburger — Bacon was perfect crunch/chew. Patty was seasoned and cooked right. Veg was fresh. Not overly condimented(is that a word?). Definitely a hearty burger.
Irish Nachos(pictured) — these were fn delicious. Completely surprised by this one for real. Chips were made in-house, perfectly fried/salted. Taco meat was A+. Onions and Jalapeños were just strong enough to bring it all together nicely. Definitely must-try.
Tangerine Lemonade — A little on the sweeter side, but used a Tangerine ice cube!! Brilliant.
Service was prompt & professional. Establishment was clean & tidy.
Definitely worth a visit.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I paid $26 for a double cheeseburger with mushrooms, grilled onions and chipotle mayo along with a side of mac&cheese bites. I received burnt-beyond-recognition patties and nonexistent toppings and sauce. The whole burger was the size of a McDouble. The bites were meh. The pics on their website lie. My husband's dinner was equally disappointing. All together $52 dollars for two burgers, a poutine and mac&cheese bites....This was our very first time trying Wayback Burgers and it will be our very last. I do not recommend this restaurant. Order from Wendy's instead, Dave Thomas knows how to make a burger.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ This was the most fresh grilled chicken burger i ever had in my life. It was delicious. So i ordered grilled Buffalo chicken burger with the side of fries and drink. Buger's size is little small but it you compare taste with it. It was decent. However, fries was a large portion so it balanced out. All in all, 5 stars. I would Recommend it over every sing burger place like wendys, A&w and so on.

We were dine in and order large bacon cheese fries,onion rings, bacon burgers and milkshake- were very tasty. Nice customer service as she came again after serve food to make sure everything was ok!! little bit high price wise but its worthy to go there.
