The monarch platform bed frame does not have enough slats and support for weight capacity. I was told in store the bed would have full slats. The bed bug protector cover does not fit my double mattress. It is way too big

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ customer service is not so good.. The guys they have to load your furniture and tie it down have no clue how to do either of those. My king size mattress flew off back of my truck driving down fermor during rush hour traffic. I asked the guys loading my bed if it was secure as I was from out of the city.. he said they would put couple more wraps with their twine. The salesman gave a 'oh sorry about that' no big deal... manager didn't care either. many cars had to swerve to miss it and unbelievable there was no accident caused. Furniture surplus not take responsibility for this and city police don't care either. You will be held at fault for furniture not being secure not surplus furniture.. so be very careful as surplus furniture isn't and doesn't care if they cause an accident. Will not shop here again..

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I’m giving one star because there’s no option for no star. We bought sofas in August 2021 and the started loosening at the edges within a month. We called the store and they referred us to the insurance guys. We were again referred back to the store. And since then it has been call after call and emails. We have provided everything you need and still no new cushion as promised by your store. Since August! I’m really disappointed and my wife is getting exhausted. I want this fixed immediately, as I can no more wait. We have been promised severally and disappointed a lot.

Not the pushy type of service but they treated us like real humans unlike most stores who usually dont approach young couples or make assumptions. The woman who helped us was fantastic and took the time to get to know what we were looking for which was a new mattress and box spring. They also have great prices!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I recently bought a couch with a chaise from here…overall a interesting but good experience. I had to wait close to 2 months to get it because of manufacturing delays. But they kept me informed, and gave me options.
However, it was unfortunate when my couch got delivered the delivery guys just dropped off the couch in my space they didn’t bother to take off the plastic or anything. (I also gave them a tip) I asked them where were the legs they said it should be in the ottoman… nope, there wasn’t any legs and no decorative pillows. I called the store they found that odd and were questioning me…then they told me to come down to collect the legs and pillows. For my trouble they gave me free bed sheets which was a nice gesture. When installing the legs I noticed that my ottoman had a broken piece inside so I could not attach 2 of the legs correctly. So I called the store again they were helpful and told me to bring the ottoman back so I could exchange it for a floor model as they didn’t have any extra. Again for my trouble they gave me a free side accent table! Wow!
There were definitely some hiccups along the way but I’m glad Surplus were professional and tried to ease the situation. In the end, I am really happy with my new couch and want to say thanks to them!
