An extremely disappointing customer experience. I ordered two plastic tote tubs online via Grainger's website. The interface said it would take almost a full month for them to arrive. Whatever, I still ordered them. When that month elapsed, and I had heard nothing from Grainger, I went back to my confirmation email to check on the status. Clicking on the "check order status" button took me to a browser warning page which proclaimed that there is a misconfiguration with Grainger's website and that it is insecure to proceed further. I therefore decided to try and login directly to my account on their website. When my login did not work I thought that maybe I am entering the wrong password so I clicked on the old "forgot password" link which then informs me that it will send an email so that I can change my password. That email never came. I therefore called them up on the phone. When I informed the gentleman of all the problems I was having with their Web interface he just laughed and muttered something jokingly derisive about "technology" and "oh yeah that's a browser issue", despite the fact that I used two different browsers on two different computers and despite me informing him that it's actually a certificate error with their web server. He then checked the status of my order which I learned will take ANOTHER MONTH! Two months for a simple order! When I conveyed my growing frustration with the way this transaction was proceeding, the customer service representative could not have demonstrated less concern, care, or attention if he tried. "Is there anything else I can 'help' you with?" Bad business. Bad customer service.
