The wifi does not work. The staff is odd. The building is a bit creepy. Very old building. The rooms are very very nice though. Redone. No USB plug ins, bring your own wall charger. Tv is small. Beds are clean and comfy. Beautiful view

We were told rooms were 130. When we got to the motel we were told there was only the more expensive rooms at 150. It was too late to find somewhere else so we were stuck. On top of that was a $8 charge for parking. Nice. The hallways stink. Like a combination of hospital and cigarettes. Luckily the room wasn't as bad. The room was not great though. The lamp on side table wasn't plugged in (We didn't look too hard but we couldn't find an outlet). The sink in the kitchenette wasnt sealed and a lot of the workmanship in the room made it it feel very cheap. The lack of soap also made the place feel cheap. We were supplied with shampoo and conditioner and no soap was provided when asked. The location is alright. Short walk from town along the seawall was nice and the view was pretty ok. The walls were dirty as well. It was gross. If this place was $60 it would be fine but being given a false price for gross room was terrible. I wouldn't recommend this place to anyone.

A nice but of waterfront lodging. They are undertaking room renovation at the moment. Also an access point for boat mooring should you wish to rent a spot for your boat.

We moored here twice and based on our experience I would never recommend it to anyone. Ar first glance the facilities are very nice and convenient too. However, the staff and owners are neither considerate or welcoming on any level. In fact they are down right rude and inconsiderate. On our first stay they placed us in a slip that was far to low for our vessel and resulted in us damaging our keel while heading out on some hidden old rail tracks beneath the water. One of the many hidden obstacles they fail to advise folks of. And while it seemed secure at first glance, nothing could be further from the truth. It is located a couple of blocks away from the homeless encampment, which has resulted in variety of unsavory characters frequenting the area. We actually watched one guy jump the fence and rummage through another unfortunate person's vessel. When we advised the staff of this they simply shrugged it off as though it was a normal occurance. On our second stay the already questionable experience here took a turn for the worse. We moored our new 30 ft sailboat for two nights and possibly a third night. We had family in town for a visit including my grandmother with limited mobility so this I figured this would be easier for her. On the third day I dropped my phone in the water and in the morning and had to run to town to get a new one. Upon my return I was greeted quite crudely by the manager/owner. He stated he had been trying to reach me all day as I had not come in to pay for the third day yet. I explained to him that I had my phone call in the water, but I was about to come in and cover the additional day ($30) which had only just begun at that point. He proceeded to say he did not care and wished to make and example of me?? He informed me that we i had to remove our boat immediately for on account of this outstanding $30. In addition, he was keeping our $20 key deposit as we were past checkout by two hours. What's worse, is the fact that he didn't even give us time to look at weather, charts, or other facilities, in turn putting myself, our new boat, and fellow marines at risk over $30?? I'm not sure what set him off or how it escalated so quickly but I've never had such a bad mooring or lodging experience in my entire life. In fact I haven't been treated so disrespectfully by anyone come to think of it. Perhaps it was a mental health issue some strange personal thing for him, but based on these experiences I would prefer to set my boat adrift before I would ever moore here again. Also the wifi doesn't cover the docks, and apparently the parking is owned by somone else so if you care to park remotely close to the dock they charge by the day to park in the resort parking lot under "separate ownership".

Try to avoid unless you're on a budget, not that it is cheap. The location is good, the room was large and had a balcony to enjoy the view. Unfortunately the positive things were overshadowed by the negative. When I first got in the room I opened the fridge to put my cold drinks in and to my surprise there was a takeout container of half eaten food left by a previous guest. So right away I'm nervous about the room not being cleaned. I was kind of surprised the clerk did not offer any compensation for the poorly cleaned room. The hallway was definitely dirty (not stained) and it was not wiped or swept in the 2 nights and 3 days of my stay. The hallway definitely needed cleaning because it had a bad smell. I went down the back stairs and it was filthy, and was also not cleaned. The front stairwell was better, only stained, only a little dirty. There were cobwebs all over the room. The towels were quite old, definitely time for new ones. Behind the door in the bathroom had not been swept at all, there was quite a bit of loose dirt there. We could not get internet access in our room at all. It tried to connect but could not on 3 different devices. Not sure why but the light on the balcony stayed on all the time, which wouldn't be a big deal but there were no blackout curtains, even though there were two sets of curtains. So there was a light shining in the room all night. The TV kept turning off automatically every 15 or 20 min. The front lobby was definitely older, sometimes locked and nobody there. The 2nd day the door would not lock, I went to the front desk but no one was there. When I got back up it was working, thankfully but I was nervous about leaving. When I returned later neither key card would work, nor the 2nd set the clerk tried. The 3rd did, finally. The parking lot was fairly dirty and full of junk, had to pay even though it was never full. It does look like they are trying to renovate but it is being done poorly. This could be a nice place but they'll have to try a lot harder in every aspect.

Stayed here paying for two rooms. Had issues with outlet behind bed and finally got the lamp on the nightstand to work. Hybrid a/c system slow to cool room. Floor behind beds and dresser were very dusty. Beds were comfortable. View was great!
