★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Perfect for outdoor lovers. Located next to a charming river and in close proximity to hiking / snow shoeing / cross country ski trails.
We just spent a great weekend there. Place was as described and beds quite comfortable.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ This was the perfect place for my husband and I to host our wedding! We were able to bring in a DJ and a caterer, Please contact Christina Strache for future catering needs (she is a reference on the chalet's reference place) Her staff is very familiar with the kitchen in the chalet and they did an amazing job tending to the bar, food service and cleanup! Not to mention, her food was amazing!!! The owners of Villas du Nord allowed us to have loud music and party hard, have an amazing space to decorate, sleep our wedding party and family after the wedding ended, and it was plenty big enough for our 80 guest! The chalet provides tables and chairs for the inside reception along with glassware, plates and silverware up to 100 people!!!!! The bedrooms were perfect for our wedding guest and even had some conjoining rooms, which was a fun touch. My bridal party, all 8 of us were able to get ready together due to the conjoining rooms!!! The bar was a huge success and I would recommend this location to any future events, marriage, reunion, anniversary, birthday parties or just a family get away! The property was beautiful and the chalet was amazing for the days leading up to the wedding and after! I cannot wait to go back!!! Below are some photos of our setup and how we turned this beautiful wooden chalet into the wedding of our dreams along with Christina and her catering staff!

Hair in the drain, marks on bed sheets , dust and mold….I can go on…
Do not recommend! Do not come! Not even if you’re invited for free.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Dishes had to be thoroughly washed before use, bathrooms were dirty, house had a strange smell. Very sketchy stains on the floor. Wouldnt recommend this place. Mice dropping in cupboards. And as for the “blackmailing” goes, we havent bothered you for a refund, it is not a blackmailing method. Sometimes the truth hurts. Whatbyou want me to lie and say it was spotless, maybe you can use the payment of our stay and hire some cleaning company! And maybe take out the mice droppings!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Sadly we booked a chalet with our family and friends. We were very disappointed. We walked in with a lingering smell of smoke and other weird smells. Does not look like photos. Dirty but has the potential to be something great. Sad the owners rent the place looking this bad and dirty. We were scared to sleep in the beds. Would never book again or recommend especially for the price! All 17 of us are unhappy.
