★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Campsites were very private, ours with a little path to the beach. It was quiet and very enjoyable. The park staff were helpful and kind. The bugs were unreal though - stock up on some heavy duty bug spray before your trip!!!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Great secluded campsites. Easy to navigate your camper. If your campsite does not have a view of the water it is only a short walk. This is what camping is supposed to look like. Beautiful dirt roads in the camping areas make it feel like you're camping as opposed to other parks that have everything paved.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ My family and I love this park. Have turned it into our annual big family get together. Park is clean and there's lots to do. Ask around about the different perks of the park because would be hard to know about different things without talking to the workers or other campers.
Side note: Kinda wish more provincial parks had playgrounds. But that's a very small issue and only because I have young kids.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Hiked Swan Lake Trail and Gut Lake Trail. Swan Lake takes you on a 1.5km trail, with some areas where you will have to climb up along rocks (not anything too strenuous, but hiking shoes recommended), and down some steeper sides. There are quite a few viewpoints along the way. Trail map states no real difficulties but as an avid hiker, I'd say otherwise for beginners. Trails are pretty well maintained and used quite often. There is a set of washrooms near the Swan Lake Trail.
Gut Trail Lake is on the other side of the park, located near three different swimming areas - one for the cliff jumpers, another for the younger kids or those looking to relax and enjoy a swim and a smaller one for the volleyball players or those looking for a mote private brach to relax (this beach is located on a pond and I personally wouldn't recommend for swimming). This 2.5km hike is a little less climbing but filled with lots of tree roots, so watch your step. You get to explore some great views, and the trail leaves you feeling as though you've explored a few different ecosystems - waterways, forest, swamp/marshland, the tops of moss covered rockland. One of our favourite places to camp and explore. One of Ontario's hidden gems.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Beautiful park and the lakes are gorgeous. Was great for swimming, not much into fishing but seems a good lake for it. The sites are your average sites not much privacy but boy are those sites on the water beautiful.
Park staff was great and friendly. The washrooms always looked like they were just cleaned, soo kudos to the park staff in that front.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ All camp sites are nice in there own way. (only annoying thing this visit was we had loud partiers across and diagonally from us, the wardens did come by and say to they'd keep an eye on them and to call if it got to loud, but personally not that kind of person) the 2 beaches we went to were great! Nice and Sandy all the way till I couldn't touch. The smaller ones are harder to find but follow the map very closely and smaller was less busy. :) and did 3 of the hiking trails they were great with something interesting to see on each on. One was really muddy but was wearing the proper shoes so didn't struggle to much. The trail are classed as kid friendly but I personally don't think young kids would be safe as they had lots of roots and Rocky inclines. Overall I would recommend this park and will likely return!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I haven't been here for a few years but returned last week. Came here just for the day and was impressed with the quality of the accessible lakes for kayaking and the number of beaches. A little busy and loud for my tastes since it's directly off the highway but if that doesn't bother you this will be a five star park for you. Wide variety of amenities and very accessible in terms of parking and actually getting there. I didn't get to visit the more distant areas of the park but I am hoping to return in a few weeks to a backcountry camping spot.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ What a beautiful spot! We stayed in the White Pine Campsite with our children and grandchildren on 3 sites. Nice and close to the beach and washroom/shower facilities and close enough to walk to the sliding rocks and the jumping rocks even with small children. The individual campsites are surrounded by trees making them fairly private. The water was beautiful and calm for swimming and canoeing and the beach was a great spot for building sand castles. Staff were all very friendly & a problem with noisy campers was handled professionally & efficiently.
It was very exciting when a small bear wandered around the campsites with the staff keeping a close watch while directing he/she away. We did have a determined raccoon one evening scrounging for food at multiple sites!
We drove to a lovely 3.5 km hike to a lookout rock. Although the trail was extremely muddy in spots, with many hikers turning back and warning us, we persevered. We even noticed mouse tracks on the trail back to the car that were not there on the way in!
Definitely one of my favourite campgrounds so far, we will definitely be back! Perfect for kids of all ages!
