★ ★ ★ ★ ★ We were heading South and stopped for gas and food, fearing there may be no more options for a while. Turns out, there is a gas station about 10 minutes south that was charging 15 cents less per Litre. Moral is don't buy gas here unless you are desperate.
However, it turns out that has is the highlight of this place as the food was even worse. Ordered fish and chips, got some low grade fish sticks and ok fries. Kids had burgers, got low grade grown patties that none of my kids would eat. My kids are picky eaters, but they have never before met a burger they wouldn't eat. To top it off, there are no tables of any sort, so you either have to take it to go or find a patch of grass.
Finally, they say they sell groceries but that is a stretch.
Overall, make sure to stock up in advance....

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ It's nice to have a store so close to the park. We needed to pick up some milk, and they carried it. Since they carry so many types of things, selection is somewhat limited. I'm told the firewood they sell is dryer than what is available at the park, so it burns better.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Wonderful friendly welcoming staff/owners. Store has a huge variety of everything your need while camping, including medication, fresh produce, fishing supplies, dry wood, gas, ice, camping supplies and fun Grundy Lake souvenirs. Also a cute food grill and ice cream stand. Fair prices highly recommend.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Really great store with a great selection of anything you could need camping. If you forget something on your trip, these guys usually have it. Great service, reasonably priced canoe/kayak rentals and good firewood available. The pinecone also has great food and icecream of you're looking for a place to eat.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ We rented a large aluminum canoe from Grundy Lake Supply Post and it was well worth the fee. They delivered it to the exact beach (Poplar campground) as expected. Would rent again and recommend to others. Only drawback is that you cannot reserve online or by phone. It must be done in person.
