★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Great place to stay to fish and hunt bears in the fall. Forest fires spared the lodge and surrounding cabins. Chris Dawson and family know how to take care of their guests.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Our group has been going here for over 15-20 years. Excellent place for a fishing getaway! The owners are very helpful and knowledgeable! If you want to catch trophy fish, look no further. This is the location for you!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Rented a boat for one week. I can speak for his business ethos. Dishonest and greedy. Charged me for two kayaks that we were thinking of renting. He charged me 350$ for 5 days for two kayaks that was sitting in his storage facility. I paid the full as I thought I could live with three loss and I did not want to waste my time with this Chris and wife.
Will never go back or rent anything from him.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Chris and Carol are super wonderful pillars of the Key Harbour community. Their store is stocked with “key” summer essentials. Boat rental prices are very fair. Always willing to accommodate with services or offer neighbourly help. Propane tank exchange saved a few BBQ dinners! Their new ice cream parlour this summer was yummy. Looking forward for what Chris and Carol have planned for next year.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ We are not anglers, but artists, so the context of our review is different. We loved our stay at Key River Lodge last August! Our cabin was very comfortable and clean and had a well-equipped kitchen. Carol and Chris were great hosts, as well as good old Ben, their German Shepherd. Oh Yes! Loved the art on location. Indeed, our trip was a great mix of art, nature, and good food. Of course, we will return! Yves and Monica

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Had a great time at Key Harbour Lodge. The cabins are very clean and maintained and Chris and dale are very accommodating and welcoming. The store has a variety of fishing tackle and other essentials. The fishing was great catching lots of big bass (all over 2 pounds), pike of all sizes, and even seen some nice walleye come back to camp. Was a great place to stay and of course the scenery of Georgian Bay and the river was great too. Highly recommend it.
