The cake was great, it was obviously freshly baked, the icing decorations were really very nice and best of all, everyone at our table commented on how nice the cake was and how it wasn't either dried out or had too much sugar in the icing. I have always been happy with the Village Food Market bakery products but this cake was something special. Thanks!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I was visiting in the summer and got a couscous broccoli salad from the deli, and it was the best salad I’ve ever had. If someone would kindly take a photo of the salad, or knows the ingredients...you would be a hero and save a pregnant ladies cravings who doesn’t live close to Sooke.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I generally like the food markets because it's the largest grocery store in sooke. it has everything that I usually would need to get out of grocery store. It is also nice because they have electric parking so you can charge your vehicle when you go grocery shopping.

Never understood why milk companies refuse to allow both brands to be sold in a location, pretty annoying. Dairyland or its Island Farms. Stupidity at its finest.
