Very n8ce alternative to big ISP companies like Bell, VideoTron and Rogers. Very efficient and good customer service. The prices are not as competitive as before so make sure you shop around first.

Excellent internet service. No issues like intermittent dropouts. Very good customer service. One improvement VIF could do is to provide modem with integrated router. I used it for 4 years in total. I switched to another provider recently because the other one is cheaper.

Always unstable. You pay for 10 mbps and I’m getting 1.1Mbps I’ve been with them for 5 year with yearly contract and they can’t make me any good offer to switch to better speed. After shopping around Other companies offer me really better deals so in 3 month when my year contract ends I’m definitely switching company

It was a bad experience overall but I feel bad because it’s a genuine Canadian company. You have lots to improve but I guess it’s just fair when market prices of internet become a commodity

It is the worst internet i have ever had. I took 1 year of service 50 MBPS i have never reached this speed and i had a lot of disconnection. I even made a complain in rcct but nothing i am disconnected at least 3 times everyday. I have trouble working. Think twice before becoming a VIF client. Just have to add this ...also i returned the modem but a month later i have not received the money i paid for it. Again i have to call and check why . It is clear they are trying to steal my money.

This internet company has the worst service ever. They use Vidéotrons line but they don’t seem to have control at all regarding the installations of the internet service. The technicien who installed my internet service wired a line from my neighbours house to mine. I have a 60 feet wire which was dragging on the soil of my garden and it’s extremely dangerous for my kids and it appears almost like I am stealing internet from my neighbour. I talked to Vif Internet at least five times already and it has been two months already, but the issue is still not fixed. This company says it’s not their fault, and there is nothing they can do. However, since we aren’t videotrons customer, we can’t reach out to Vidéotron…. In any case, i will suspend my service with this company and I strongly recommend anyone who wishes to have good technical support for their internet service to chose another company or deal directly with Vidéotron.

Been with them when I had dial-up. I had videotron at one point but they are over charging so, I came back to Vif. They use Videotron's cables. High speed is good and NEVER have I complained about their customer services. I do recommend

Ditched Bell a few years ago in favour of VIF and haven't looked back. Proper customer service, fast speed, and the only outages have been when their upstream provider is down. That's happened twice in 6 years. Not sure why they're rated 3/5. In 6 years, they have provided better and more reliable service than I ever got with Bell.
