Tech support is only open during regular business hours. My internet went down on a Sunday during exam finals and I had to call them the Monday after. Worst support ever.

Reliable Bell technology resellers. Horrible customer service when support is needed.

I did not get good service from them. Internet was not working corrrectly. Customer service rude. My credit card company had to interfere so that they stop taking money off my account after I stopped the service. Despite several calls to their invoicing departement they kept charging me many months after the service was stopped. Not recommended. There is other small companies in Montreal offering quality unlimited internet service.

I've been with AEI for longer that I can remember (more than 10 years) and always been satisfy! Unlimited bandwidth, no downtime and the price haven't change! I am not sure why people are complaining here. AEI is a plain and simple internet service provider that gets the job done. Highly recommended!

Worst costumer service. They make you loose days over the phone while you have no connection. They never call back when they say they would. They just treat you like an idiot. My advice : never even consider them for your internet service.

UPDATE: After almost 10 years with AEI, I finally understand all the negative reviews. I had a 25mbps connection at my old address, it never failed and I actually downloaded at 25mbps, it was great! When I moved it was a bit of a hassle to change my address, the customer service rep ended up closing my account and opening a new one, never told me my new user name for my modem/router, kept saying he'd call me back and never would, answers to my questions were extremely vague, it wasn't cool at all but I shut up about it. I finally upgraded to 50mbps and I've never been more disappointed. I get download speeds of 0.93-12mbps, I can't even stream basic videos without it chopping. My upload is faster than my download??? It makes no sense. I've tried calling customer service but they close at 6:00pm and that's when I get back from work, calling on Saturdays is useless because you just can't get through to anyone. I've checked my modem configuration, a modem/router which I bought from AEI, I've even tested with other modems and the result is the same. Today is the day that I cancel with AEI (which I have to do during work hours since the office closes at 5:00pm on Fridays), it just sucks that I paid the 75$ install fee. Very very disappointed, you just lost a loyal customer. Below is my old review, I had given 5 stars because it was deserved, not anymore, 2 stars is being nice. "I've been with AEI for over 8 years, never had a problem. Speeds are good, unlimited bandwidth, and the price is right. Customer service is fine too."

It's not great. AEI used to have a very outdated website and now their current website has been under construction for a long time with no way to see the different prices and services. Kind of a red flag for an internet service provider. Also, the employees at the customer support phone number always sound like you're bothering them and they don't want to help. Bottom line: It's not offensively bad but there's just so many better companies for internet out there that give faster speeds for cheaper.

I had a very bad experience with this company. I had a couple technical problems when setting up my wifi internet service. After waiting on the line I left a message. I called back and the representative did not want to help me. After we reached what we thought was the solution, we ended the call. The internet still wasn't working, so I called back. The same representative picked up, heard it was me, then hung up on our call promptly. I feel like this company could benefit from having more staff to handle inquiries, and/or more training on respectful customer service. Edit: was eventually able to talk to support and get the correct instructions - the process was not as straight forward as they had initially said. I still had to do some trouble shooting with Google as help.
