Their physical store has amazing stock of classic and new games and if you are looking to buy games, you can not go wrong with this store The products that they carry make it worth doing an in-store visit If you are looking to go on-line shopping at video game plus, avoid free shipping if you can as the delivery date can be unpredictable and it will be hard to determine when you will receive your package

I wanted to support this business and decided to pre-order online. Big mistake, I really wish I looked into this place more before my purchase. There was only one shipping option even though I don’t live too far from the place. For a Pre-order item you would think shipping options would be available so you can have the item at least within a day of the release date. Apparently at this place you can’t, out of the shipping options never for a preorder should β€œregular letter” with no tracking be an option. It can take up to two weeks to receive items. I could have ordered from Amazon and gotten the item same day as it’s release. I will not be buying again or recommending because it’s just not worth the time. I read a lot of people say that items come damaged. It better not considering I am in week two of waiting for item and pre-ordered it a month and a half prior to release date. If it does come messed up I can’t even get my money back as they will just want to do a swap. What kind of business model is that?

I've bought from VGP several times now. While videogamesplus.ca has a great product selection, most of my experiences buying from them have been poor. Several orders have come to me with damaged items. These things happen, but due to a rigid return/exchange policy, customers still have to pay return shipping on such products. It's worth noting that, even if VGP accepts the return/exchange, purchases may only be swapped for an identical item or store credit. No cash refunds. This happened multiple times, and on my most recent order, VGP deferred to the manufacturer to have them replace my damaged item, refusing to exchange it themselves. This is despite the item being shipped to me with damage, as it was not damaged in transit. As a result, I'm still in return/exchange limbo for something I wish I'd simply bought elsewhere (or not at all). Overall, anytime there's an issue, expect the solution to be frustrating, costly, and drawn out. Although customer service has always been friendly and cordial, I can't in good faith recommend that anyone buy games from this site unless there's absolutely no other option. Even then, think twice and be sure you're comfortable with a strict return/exchange policy before you place that order.

Trying to find the right game every time I visit! They have classic and modern games to choose from but the selection is quite low. Lots of old consoles and games in the back but be ready to spend an arm and a leg. Would love to support these types of businesses but I noticed many games on the shelves are at least ten dollars or more off elsewhere or online.

Every time I've gone in, I've seen the owner/manager (whoever he is) degrade and insult his staff right with the customer(s) there in front of them. The last time I saw this happen, I left the stuff I was going to buy and walked out. If you can't treat your employees with respect and decency, I'll go elsewhere. That's not how you run a business. Integrity and respect is a better path. If that happens right in front of customers, what happens behind the scenes? And when I've dealt with him, he's arrogant and unappreciative as though I'm taking up his valuable time. But it's a business that deals with people but he's not good at the people part at all. So after being a customer a handful of times, I just left. I won't go back. Too bad cos I love games.
