Victoria Park Ottawa - Laserderm

Victoria Park/Laserderm is the best dermatology clinic I have ever been to – and I have been to a lot of them, going back to childhood. We are fortunate that it is here in Ottawa. I have had several treatments with Dr. Sibley and find him to be a knowledgeable, caring and excellent physician. He takes the time to listen to the issues and concerns of his patients; consequently, his work has always produced a great outcome for me. Sunny, the Nurse Clinical Director is a lovely and caring professional. The other nurses are terrific, especially Lara, with whom I have had many treatments. Lara and Morgan introduced me to the Emsella chair and the results were astonishing. It not only worked for its intended purpose; it also remedied my swollen legs and ankles so I could walk without pain or fatigue. I intended to buy a maintenance program but was advised that I really didn’t need it right away since the original treatments were so effective. I have had Bela MD facials with Morgan and they (and she) are wonderful beyond belief. The treatments get rid of surface impurities caused by pollution, dry and aging skin. They also give my skin a glow that lasts much longer than other, more expensive, beauty salon facials. I plan to incorporate Bela MDs into my ongoing skin care regime. The administration staff embodies the values of the clinic: friendly, welcoming and focused on the safety, comfort, concerns and care of the patients. They really seem to enjoy working with each other. Lalaine is unfailingly cheerful, efficient and professional; Arooj in the Cyberderm area is a real pleasure to deal with; Sean, Maddie, Laura, Lily, Olivia and Rebecca are equally pleasant and helpful when serving their clients. I have complete trust in the services, treatments and products offered by Victoria Park/Laserderm. The abilities of the professional and administration staff are exemplary; the treatment rooms are spotless, bright and comfortable and I have never felt any pressure to buy treatments, procedures or products that I didn’t need or want. I highly recommend them and would never consider going elsewhere as long as they exist.

It's disappointing to say but this place has never been anything but a bad experience. Although the receptionists are typically pleasant, both doctors and the nurses are always dismissive, snarky, lack empathy and show no desire to actively listen to the issue you're facing. They do not take their client's input on what they're experiencing seriously and will unapologietically shove one of their many treatment packages down your throat. I wish I could expand more on the specifics of my experience there but don't want to be singled out. All I can say is don't expect to be treated with kindness and compassion from this place. If you want to be taken more seriously, make sure to walk into your consultation with your pocketbook hanging around your neck, with cash and credit cards poking out.

Dr. Chloé Ward is such an amazing dermatologist. I highly recommend her services. Not only she is knowledgeable and professional, but also a very kind and friendly doctor. I have been struggling with milia forever. It was my biggest skin concern and I was always ashamed. She fixed my face! I will use her services for the rest of my life. So happy that such fantastic professionals are here in Ottawa. She deserves the best!

I have been going to Laserderm over the years and Dr. Ward has never once been on time for my appointments. I understand that things can happen, but I have even intentionally booked right in the morning multiple times and she still comes in an hour late. And when she comes into the room she is extremely rushed and does not listen. I only give this more than 1 star because the ladies at the front desk were very kind and welcoming.

Been going here for years for my treatments and would never consider going anywhere else. Staff are all very friendly + professional and accommodate my needs. Keep up the good work! FYI They have the best sunscreen on the market only one I use!

Happy with treatment, however my appointments have been rescheduled a few times for reasons unknown, extending my treatment that is already over a year long (as I need to wait 3 months between each session). Everytime the dr. suddenly can't make it, I'm not accommodated. My appointment is simply pushed to a month or two later... I wish they'd at least offer to put me on a list in case of a cancellation...

Very happy with my results and service

I've struggled with acne for decades and the staff here has been so helpful in clearing my skin. As much as were not quite there yet, I feel so hopeful and always look forward to my appointments. Staff is always friendly, understanding and inviting.
