If reception staff would answer the phone, that would be lovely..... ^After coming in for a few appointments, lemme tell you, those folks need a break and another person to handle the lines. A situation of what could possibly just be a bit of under-staffing. Perhaps an online booking method would help take some weight off of their shoulders?

I feel like it's gone downhill in the past few months with the introduction of the new receptionists. It can take over 15 minutes or multiple calls just to get through to make an appointment. Once you are able to finally make an appointment with a doctor, everything is wonderful. The doctors and nurses are fantastic.

Getting through via phone is an issue, very challenging and sometimes I've been on hold for 15 minutes, and messages are not given to the doctor, not good at all. I haven't been seen by a doctor since Jan 2020 (11 months) and still haven't see a doctor yet all is done via telephone or email. Now service is poor and I am not sure why, Covid or not Covid related? I need the bare minimum and it is not easy to get the minimum? I need a dosage change for my thyroid and who knows how long it's been required and now I will have to wait for the office to process a new prescription, it won"t be quick, I know that. I just called to let them know results and ask and line is busy? It is pretty disconcerting, it used to be a lot better now it's very slow and unpredictable on what service you get and how fast it is processed. Too bad for patients .

I just called to this clinic, as my family is looking for a Family doctor. I asked a one simple question "if you are accepting any new patients, me and my wife need to register." The lady said, "No, we are currently not accepting any new patients. It already said in the first part informal message when you select the options." (She need to hear that message and listen that carefully, that information is never been said in that recorded message). Next, I asked "are going to have any space open in coming future to accept new patients?" The response I got from her was very unprofessional. She said, "If you want to wait for 5 years then yeah!" and she Hang up on me. Without saying "thank you", "sorry for inconvenience". Such a rude and unprofessional service she is setting up a really bad example for other health care provider who does their job at any cost. I feel sorry for those who use this clinic for any type of health services. I hope they treat you well. This kind of behaviour should not be tolerated at all. now days many people (like me) who is looking for the family doctor since 3 years, or more, and at the end we get this kind of service. I will not go or call to this clinic for any help. I would suffer for anything but not to go this clinic if the services very unprofessional and rude. I would not recommends anyone to go at this clinic or call them, please use other clinic or hospital where you get respect to your questions and professional answers and provide some care.

I’ve been In this Clinic for almost 8 years, I could tell after a long time that I haven’t visited my doctor that some things have changed, starting with the RECEPTION. Before, I would call and get answered right away but these past few months it’s been hard to get ahold of them and I just wanted to talk to my doctor cuz I got involved in car accident and no one answered my phone calls from the office. It’s been THREE days I try to get a hold of them. Until now no hope of getting answered. If this is a hospital I be dead by now.

Doctor Folkerson is a very good family doctor: professional and knowledgeable. However, the phone system is often absolutely terrible (as other reviewers have commented here). As an example, I received a voice message on my home phone answering machine last week (it is now Tuesday). I called back three times Friday, got through to the automated message system each time, and all I got was a voice saying "Doctor's Office", and then Muzak. Not "Can you please hold?", just "Doctor's office" and Muzak. I tried again yesterday and today, and now there is a lengthy message about which doctors are off and which doctors are replacing them: all interesting information, but unnecessary as your main message. When you try to hit Zero to get through to Reception, you are disconnected unless you wait through the entire message. The system should recognize the Zero command from the beginning. When I did hit the Zero at the end, the phone just rang and rang. I thought I'd try again just now, at 11:45. The message was "Gone to lunch, back at 1:00". The website says the lunch break is 12-1.... Again, we love Doctor F, but the clinic needs a good manager who is aware of how the clinic presents itself through its first contact, the phone system. An update: I originally posted this review two weeks ago. I have tried multiple times, every day since then, to contact the clinic. No luck. When I hit the zero command, the phone just rings and rings. And the capper: a message was left from the clinic two days ago saying that this was the third time they'd called and left a message, and would I please call back....the woman leaving the message sounded frustrated and tired, and I get that. This is a stressful time for everyone, especially if you are dealing with sick/terrified patients in the covid era, as they are. But the problem is their phone system. I am frustrated, too, trying to return their calls but being unable to do so.
