The staff are friendly and helpful, but when they walk past a do not disturb hanger on the door into my room while I was sleeping after a graveyard shift I was in town for, well I can't recommend the service. There is also no room service. Instead you have to go down and get food from a fairly overpriced restaurant that is meh. The rooms are built around the elevator so you get to hear every person's pre elevator conversation with clarity. The walls are quite thin as well. The house cleaners let the door slam when they go in and out for cleaning as these doors are LOUD when the deadbolt is engaged so the door won't lock. So on my 4 day stay I got sleep on one of those days because it was a Sunday I guess. They sell parking stalls here so when I come to the hotel at 6am from work there are no stalls or very few stalls left. Seems like management needs to pretend to be a customer and experience this kind of stuff. The rooms were very modern and nice, however the TV remote has an input delay that makes you want to throw the remote at the TV. Easy to change a few things to make this a much nicer place to stay.

Great location, very convenient if you take the connector bus. Lots of families and pet friendly. Pool and hot tub are well used so it can be hard to swim and not get splashed. Can also be hard to get a towel.

The recent renovation changed the rooms from comfortable and cozy to very cold and business-like. There are not enough drawers for more than an overnight bag and the furniture is very plain and most uncomfortable. I used to really like staying at this hotel. Not anymore, I'll be looking for nicer and more comfortable accommodations. This being said, the hotel is very clean and the staff are excellent.

A renovated older hotel. Bed was lumpy. No EV charging station was a bummer. Staff was friendly but definitely was not as warm or attentive as other Marriott hotels I've stayed at. Room had a lot of dust bunnies, but was otherwise fine.

An amazing hotel experience in downtown Victoria. I was able to check in 4 hours early and received a room upgrade which was amazing. The room itself was stunning with a beautiful view of downtown Victoria. The amenities, the restaurant/bar, the staff, were all perfect. Will happily return soon.

Our room was clean with a nice balcony. Breakfast at the hotel restaurant was good with great service! Very centrally located for walking to all local attractions and great restaurants. However, ask for a room away from the ice machine as it several times a night runs automatically loud enough to wake us several times! Also elevators are β€œpainfully β€œ slow with long waits, suggest a lower floor to avoid this!

I stayed here over the weekend with my cousin and I wasn't disappointed. My room had a romantic view of the city lights at night and it was cool to see it like a bird. Oh, the interiors were just beautiful. I wish I was rich enough to live in a condominium like that. It's in the heart of the city, so it's pretty much within walking distance of all the stores, restaurants, etc. Victoria is very pretty on a rainy Friday afternoon. It was also great to try many new eat-outs. Bartholomew's down the road is best to visit on a Friday night. The swimming pool and hot tub are small but big enough to host many people. The lobby was pretty, and the purple velvet chairs near the fine dining restaurant were fancy. Breanna (a server at that place) loved conversing with me. I'd gladly stay here again. So why not five stars? The TV selection was simply inadequate, and accessing YouTube on the TV was very hard, but that's just a minor flaw. So I'd gladly stay here again. Oh, and when you're in the hot tub and you see a woman with a bikini on, don't be shy and say hello to her.

Stayed two nights over New Years. Service was flawless, and everything we needed we were able to find. Updated hotel with rustic Victorian charm. Fireplace in lobby is nice until the winter. Only suggestions for improvement would be updating the speed of the elevators and fixing the main doors (only the revolving doors worked during our stay).
